Our services range from hanging a tv to doing a fully automated home or business. We service the Houston Metro typically inside the beltway and down 45 to Galveston. We offer sales/Installation of high quality electronics that match the big box stores. Difference between us is smaller margains and much better service and installation!. Plus, after the job you can get us with a phone call and actually talk to the people that did the work! We are a small company that is 95% word of mouth. So making customers happy beyond the job is important.

We had a R59 cable installed by the builder which was a problem from day one. The reason we took so long to replace it was we were concerned about the look and the difficulty replacing a cable that was literally built into the structure so it couldn’t be pulled through. MediaTech found a routing that looked planned and hidden even though space was tight in the attic. Result: looks good and no more TV interference and inoperable modems.

Juan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He actually had to customize a bracket for my purposes. He was instrumental in directing the contractor for Comcast regarding how to run cable to areas in my house (where previous installers failed). Overall, I was pleased with the job and the cost, since it was an all-day project.

Great. They quoted the job accurately, showed up on time, were extremely neat and professional. What I liked best was that they were not in a rush to leave. Spent the time to make sure I knew how to operate everything. You can't go wrong with calling them.

Overall the work provided was good. The guys did everything that was asked and I am happy with the overall results. I was a bit surprised when they showed up on the day that they did the work as I hadn't received confirmation that they were coming that day, but fortunately I was home so it wasn't an issue.

The owner of the company, who was very friendly and professional, promptly sent a technician to my 80-year-old father's house to modify his cable tv setup so that he couldn't accidentally change the input on the TV.
This sounds trivial, but had been the source of much unhappiness both for me, the unpaid over-the-phone tech support person who lives 200 miles away, and for my poor frustrated Dad who just wanted to watch the news. The tech must have done it right because I haven't had a support call from my Dad about the tv since. Well worth the money.

Overall they did a great job. Jared is professional and punctual and manages his team well. They gave us a fair bid, and came back when they said they would for the installation. We had a big party after the installation and Jared was kind enough to come over on Labor Day to help the hired performer connect his equipment to ours. I would definitely use them again. The only reason I gave a B on price was because they talked us into a new router that doesn't work any better than our old one, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't work better, it's just not noticeable for the price we paid.

Called Media Technologies out to wall mount a TV for us. We were told they would be at our house at 2, and two guys showed up on time to do the job. One guy seemed professional and friendly, but the other guy (who said he was new) was annoying and sort of silly. The TV was mounted above our fireplace, and my husband was very happy with the result. When it came time to pay, the installer asked if we knew the owner (I can't remember the owner's name), and I said I didn't know him. I asked how much it would be, and the installer had to call his boss to get an amount, and his boss had to call him back a few minutes later. I thought it was kind of strange that they did not seem to know what they were going to charge us. We would use Media Technologies again based on how well the work was performed.

They showed up on time, worked efficiently, made sure everything was set up correctly and worked with us on some changes as the two day job progressed. They also cleaned up the mess which was a bonus.

This turned out to be a not so easy job. Cable had to be run from the attic to the first floor (we have a two story house) and along a solid brick fireplace. The installation guy was very diligent and patient. He took his time and found routes to the selected locations. All the work was neat and looked very professional. Since my wife and I were moving, we left them in the house as we moved items from the old house to the current house. They cleaned up after themselves and when it was all said and done everything looked amazing. I intend to use Media Technologies for a few more things around the new house.

Media Technologies installed a TV mount we purchased online above our very tall fireplace and mantle. The mount was one our installer had never worked with before (only one company sells it). However, he was able to figure out how it worked and had it installed in a couple of hours. He also ran our wires through the wall and hooked up our cable box.
During the course of the installation, the installer was willing to discuss issues that came up with my husband on the phone. As I knew nothing about TV installation, I was very pleased that he took the time to do that. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the service we received and we would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

I think the guy that quoted the system is too busy or overworked to really quote the job correctly and insure it goes as he sold it to me. The installer (they are business partners) did not have a clue. He just installed items as they came out of the box and when something went wrong he simply got a new device from somewhere and installed it out of the box.
The remote is easy and he explained how it worked. He was not familiar with the buttons on the remote and only familiar with what he programmed into the remote. I realized this when I asked him if I could skip through cannels instead of going through them one at a time and he said the remoted did not have that feature. That night I found that feature (because every remote has that feature) and use it to scroll through the menu.
The installer did say the remote was easy and showed me how to use it in just a few minutes.

"This report is not exactly accurate . Our $95 an hour rate is for one lead tech. We had two at this job and doubled the time estimated and did not charge any extra on quoted work. The clients TV has HDMI synching issues. This is why it was hooked up component video when we showed up. Unfortunately we are stuck with HDMI these days and have to use this industry standard. TV will continue having HDMI synching issues until it is fixed or replaced. Yes we threw new parts at the system. This reassured us that nothing we brought to the table caused this problem. Clients modem and router was installed on kitchen counter top. We had to trace wiring in the attic and hookup wiring in family room. It is not a plug and play deal. We quoted hanging a TV in guest room we did so and hooked up cable box and even assisted the client in activating it. Box did not work so we traced wiring to double check the cable company and wiring was fine. We came to the conclusion that the cable box was not functioning. I am not sure what else we could have possible done to make this not so good situation better. Unfortunately client listed some uncontrollable issues with equipment that we did not bring to the table and not the nice installation and programming work we did at the house."
