"Mr. Blaney and his crew did a simply outstanding job with all aspects of the design and installation of a new landscape for our front and side yard. We had several project goals for a mature yard (new to us): water drainage off of our flat lot, root barrier for a large red oak; removal of overgrown plants, 3 trees, and tons of loose river rock; simplified flower bed design, stone edging for aesthetics and to reduce weeds; and plants better adapted to our property conditions. Mr. Blaney’s experience and artistry came together to address all our goals. He is a master with stone and rock! We have beautiful beds, a large patio, sidewalk, and a new front porch that is just a jewel. His crew was very reliable, experienced, fast, and just awesome masons. The work was done according to the plan we all agreed to; there were no financial surprises. Plus, it was a lot of fun working with these folks – they are so good at what they do and are passionate about the quality of their work. Aaron gave pros & cons of using pavers/crushed granite vs flagstone/mortar; no hard sell for either one. He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding.
