They were very courteous if asked questions, etc. Once the fence was finished. Any extra materials and supplies were carried off. They left the yard very clean. The new fence looked great. "I contacted Steve at Texas Roof and Fence last fall to get bids on my house and a rent house that had hail damage.  he was very responsive to those requests and quickly got me a bid.
I'm probably not the easiest customer to do business with and I wasn't thrilled with some of his terms and conditions so he agreed to changes I requested.  I'm not sure why but it took a few months to get his signed agreement back to me.  My impression is Steve has a lot of balls in the air and sometimes thinks he has done something he hasn't. 
The roof replacement was done last week.  I am still waiting on the barn roof and gutters which were supposed to be done this week but it's not looking like they will be.
Steve set a high bar and high expectations committing to cleaning up daily which his team didn't do.  He also told me when they cleaned up it would be spotless which it wasn't.   Steve said it was unrealistic to expect they would get more than 99% of the nails, etc.
He may have done better than most roofers would have.  I had high expectations based on the strong reviews he had on Angie's List and in Denton and his representations which fell a little short.  Not sure how much of that is because my expectations were too high and some because his crew or he didn't do what he said they would.

"From estimate to completion, everything was great! An estimate was given without me having to be there AND without having to put my dog in his kennel. (That was the 1st great thing) I received a phone call & email to make sure everything was explained. I had lots of questions & each of them was addressed quickly & without making me feel like I was bothering them. Once we decided on using AGAN, they set up an install date. The installation guys showed up on time & ready to work. I was quoted 2-3 days for completion & they finished in 2 days (even with my neighbor forgetting to leave their dogs in the house which halted demo day). The end result is a gorgeous fence! "Important positives: Good price in comparison to other painters Didn't pay any money until the job was finished Arrived on time Professional Good preparation (power washed, scraped, caulking, replaced bad wood, covered and taped areas) Good detail work (edges smooth and neat) No surprise charges Looking back: I asked for 3 coats of paint in my first visit. The brick area may have 3 coats it is thick and looks BETTER than expected. The gable on one side does not have 3 coats. Antonio told me his guy would add another coat of paint to the entire gable area, but I never saw that happen and the paint was thin in that area. I mentioned it again to the painter that came the last day to do touch up. He said he would paint the two shingles I pointed out. He did. I would have preferred another coat on all of it. I believe had I insisted, Antonio would have done it. My husband couldn't see the thinness of the paint, the two spots that bothered me were covered, and I just let it go. I wanted to test a stain color on a board not on the fence before putting it on my fence. Instead, 3 boards were stained that were right in the first place you look when you walk in the yard. I had him replace the three boards. I ran to the store and bought the new ones. It's important to note that he did the fence for FREE. I just had to buy the stain, they hand brushed it on and it was labor intensive. The fence looks BEAUTIFUL. I struggled choosing colors. If I had it to do over I would have made choices and done tests before their arrival, so I could consider the colors over time. The painters had to work around other workmen and people coming in and out. They were always polite and patient though. I don't know how I could have changed this, but it bothered me the painters had to deal with it.
