"Ayobi Contractors repaired a hole that I had in the drywall. He promptly arrived and quickly finished the job that exceeded my expectations. His final touchup left the damage unnoticeable, all at a fair price. I would highly recommend."

"Amazing!! If I could give 6 stars I would! I’m by myself and suck at putting stuff together so I couldn’t be more grateful for Herberto. He showed up early and immediately got to work. He was super kind and thorough! I will definitely be using him again."

"Macias team did a great job with repairing and painting the wall in my son’s room And touch up painting the other knicks in a few walls. They are VERY affordable and did the work in about an hour/hour and a half. I would recommend them to anyone looking for these services and would hire them again! Before and after photos"

"David was the only handyman listed to answer his phone on a Sunday. I needed work done the following Saturday as it was our only day off. He doesn't typically work on Saturday but agreed to do the work. He arrived on time and got right to work on hanging a very delicate chandelier in a very high place. He also installed a doggie door. They were very professional, finished in a timely manner and charged a fair price. I would use them again and recommend them."

"I hired Fernando to replace two washing machine valves in my supply box, as one had a valve that would not close all the way, and the other would not open all the way, which caused my HE washer to constantly stop for errors regarding low flow. Fernando texted me shortly after I requested a bid on Angi's list. I told him what I was looking for, sent him a picture of the box, and he said he could do it for $250, which was substantially less than a local plumbing company had quoted me several years ago. Fernando arrived 15 minutes early, and explained that he did not have the exact parts to match, but that the valves and hammer arrestors he got from home depot would suffice, He was able to remove the old valves and install the new ones with only the need to remove a small section of the drywall above the box to access the PEX pipes, and then added the arrestors with seperate adapters. It looks wonky, but works great. Will update u if needed, but so far so good: no leaks."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The average 12-by-24-foot in-ground pool costs $48,500, but depending on the features and materials, prices can trend even higher. You’ll spend less on a rectangular vinyl or fiberglass pool than on a concrete pool in an elevated style (think infinity pool or lagoon pool). Added features like heating, lighting, diving boards, or decking will increase your overall cost.

The lifespan of a semi-aboveground pool depends on the lining, but they last between seven and 15 years on average. This is right in line with what you can expect from a standard aboveground pool. In comparison, an in-ground pool can last up to 75 years with a well-maintained concrete liner.

If you put too much baking soda in your pool, your alkalinity will rise. That means you’ll need to take steps to lower your alkalinity. You can either add more water (which will require more chemicals because they’ll be diluted), wait for the alkalinity to lower naturally, or use a chemical like muriatic acid to lower it.

You'll feel the most comfortable in pool water between 78 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Lower temperatures are a bit brisk, while higher temperatures can lead to algae and cloudy pool water. Choose a pool heater that either runs automatically when your water dips below 78 or switch it on several hours before using the pool for the day.

The total time to install an inground pool typically ranges from 8 weeks to 4 months. This timeline can be influenced by several factors, including permitting, site preparation, and the construction process itself.

Key phases and their typical durations include:

  • Permits: Obtaining necessary permits can take anywhere from two to six weeks.

  • Excavation and Site Preparation: This phase takes about a week but can be extended by problematic soil, unexpected ground conditions, or the need to move underground utility lines.

  • Construction: The actual build, including plumbing and electrical work, often takes one to two months. The pool material is a major factor here; a concrete pool needs about 30 days to cure, while installing a fiberglass or vinyl liner is much faster.

External factors can also cause significant delays:

  • Contractor Availability: Spring and summer are busy seasons, and high demand can lead to long waitlists, potentially adding months to your start date. It is often recommended to start planning and getting estimates up to a year in advance.

  • Other Delays: Weather, material shortages, complex designs, and other unforeseen challenges can extend the project timeline.
