"We wanted a 10' x 20' patio installed but were not sure what materials to use. The area needed leveling and there was a slope to contend with. Aaron gave pros & cons of using pavers/crushed granite vs flagstone/mortar; no hard sell for either one. He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding. The workmanship is second to none. Patio is perfectly level, drainage is exceptional, and the flagstone is beautifully placed. We are so fortunate to have found Tecton Stoneworks on Angi. Highly recommend this company!"

"Listen folks, I got me an education about cutting down my trees. I just wanted them gone. But these professional guys that know there stuff advised me appropriately. I had know ideal how the process work an trimming are cutting down trees. They wasn't bother by me observing the process. I was amazed how the crew used equipment with ease. This technic come with experienced. And most of all they was affordable and reasonable. And gave me an deal all along the way. If it was any one else, like these large tree companies, I couldn't afford it. So it pays to hire the little guy, that dose big company work. And I give a big thumbs up for these guys. For a outstanding job, and will contact them in the future. If anyone ask me about who do trees and yard work. I will say "BSB CONCRETE & LANDSCAPING, RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL. "Mr. Pintor personally came out and assessed the work needed. Quoted a very fair price and performed the work. The color match was very important factor and he matched it perfectly! We are very pleased with the results and his principals. Will definitely trade with Pintor Masonry again. I highly recommend him for your project. He even came back following week to review the work. Very impressive as I don't know anyone else that does a follow up visit."

"Bill did an awesome job on my project. The retaining wall looks great. It looks strong and pleasing to the eye. I should have no more trouble with erosion. The plants and sod he supplied were beautiful and healthy. Even the rocks he put down look good. I am so pleased with the finished project. Bill was patient and worked with me to get all of my problems resolved. I will definitely hire him for my next project."

Patios questions, answered by experts

Aluminum, vinyl, and wood all offer unique benefits for durability and aesthetics.

Even under the best of all circumstances, the maximum ROI on a pool is about 56%. There are other exterior home projects that you can do that are both less expensive to tackle and net a more significant ROI. These include:

The cost to screen in a porch depends on whether you are adding screens to an existing structure or building a new one from scratch. Adding screens to an existing porch costs about $5 to $7 per square foot, with a national average cost of around $2,800. For example, screening a 12-by-12-foot (144-square-foot) porch would likely cost between $700 and $1,000. If you are building a new screened-in porch, the cost is substantially higher. A new 12-by-12-foot screened-in porch can cost between $6,400 and $18,300, while a new 14-by-16-foot one averages around $11,000. The final price will vary based on the size of the porch, labor costs, and the materials you choose.

Creating a screen room is one of the most cost-effective ways to enclose a patio so you can still use it in the winter. Most screen rooms aren’t insulated, so you’ll need to wrap up warm or use patio heaters in winter. Also, be aware they might not hold up well if you live in a location where heavy snow is common.

If you have multiple rooms that could use some organization, home storage solutions like cubbies in your mudroom or built-in shelving can help you move clutter off the floor. Take it one step further by pairing shelves and cabinets with personalized aesthetic touches like woven or canvas lined metal baskets to add another organizational element.
