"I called Dave for a plumbing project. Dave was prompt and professional. He diagnosed the issue with ease and fixed everything in a timely manner. There’s no one I trust more for my home repair needs than Dave. He’s worked on various items for me and I’ll continue to call on him to get them fixed."

"The actual guy that did the work was good at what he did, but the method of tieing in the ceiling drywall to the existing wall drywall did not go well. I had to fix some spots within 3 days that did not hold. The sales rep needs to do a better job of providing information about the job to the workers. His communication skills need to improve"

"Blake did an excellent and thorough job. We had a leak that he diagnosed and fixed which ended up being a roof issue. He repaired some exterior window framing and also installed new tile floors. He is very detail oriented and his work is impeccable. I have already referred him to neighbors and will definitely use him again."

"Prompt, courteous interactions with all....estimator and work crew.  On time and efficient. Left no mess to clean up.
very accomodating with scheduling.
Do make sure that you review the sketch of estimated work to be done.
A little disappointed in the "patch" coloring...but otherwise repairs did fix the problem

"Derrick F, Ian J, and Thomas N, did a great job communicating with me on everything that was going to happen during each phase of the repair. I have to admit, I was not impressed with the communication with the initial process of scheduling. They could use some help in ensuring communication lines are open with the consumer!! As far as the crew that completes the project A++!! I was very impressed with their work ethic as well as enthusiasm in completing the job in a timely manner!!"

Wall Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, including patterns, finishes, and plant integration for aesthetic enhancement.

DIY is possible for small projects. Professional installation ensures structural integrity and durability for larger walls.

Regular inspection for issues like cracks or leaning and ensuring drainage stays clear.

If you don’t backfill a retaining wall—either at all or adequately enough—the wall won’t drain well, and water will be able to pass through it. Poor drainage will lead to a warped wall or a buildup of hydrostatic pressure, which can eventually collapse your retaining wall. If you have particularly sloped land, consult a structural engineer to ensure your hardscaping is adding value to your home.

Railroad ties can be good for retaining walls, but it depends on the area. They have a desirable rustic look and are durable. The problem is they’re treated with creosote, a preservative the EPA says poses a risk to humans and wildlife. Over time, the preservative seeps out of the wood and into the ground. Many areas have banned the use of creosote-treated wood on residential properties. If your area does allow it, never use railroad ties near an edible garden or drinking water source. Instead, use wood that’s treated with an EPA-approved preservative or a wood-alternative composite material.
