"When Greg arrived to review the project, he was very clear that they may not be able to lift my driveway where it met the street curb if it was dowelled into the street concrete. But I insisted they try it anyway. Sure enough he was correct, but we did get some improvement further up the driveway. The front walkway was a terrible tripping hazard due to tree roots and Southern Concrete Raising lifted and leveled the sections perfectly level and smooth. The crew was on time, professional, and thoroughly cleaned up work sites. Well done!"

"showed them previos work shoewed them water problem in back both sides of yard.  showed cracked around windows and walls at varios rooms.they took measurements and came back with diagram and suggestions for additional work on leveling foundation.  with peirs ect.  had suggested fixing the water problem with a French drain to run from property line fence across drive and across brick patio by pool.  I agree we should fix water problem first with hope that house would settle back down when that issue is solved.  they never called back to schedual the work.  I called individual that did the estimate.  and he assured me they would call.  they did't call.  I gave the  3 1/2 weeks to call and schedual.  so I called an d cancelled project.

"I have had over 30 contractors at my home as it has been basically rebuilt.  This company has been the most professional i have dealt with.  Showed up on time, communicated progress, cleaned up at the end of each day COMPLETELY, came with all necessary tools and supplies.
Along the width of the house, all of the walls were removed from the floor to aprox 2 feet.  Lower portion of studs and base plates removed, walls sealed with amazing product, studs, base plate and walls replaced (not the sheetrock).  All lower level floors sealed.
We have had over 5" of rain in the last 24 hours.  This is the first time since i have owned this house that the floors have not flooded when we have saturated soil and heavy rain.
Incredible product, excellent company.  i highly recommend both.

"Foundation was repaired and leveled, but the person who came out to give the quote indicated that the skirting would be repaired and that a rotted beam at the front of the house would be replaced, and that all piers would be strapped with five (5) straps for lateral stability. The piers were replaced but only one strap was used, several of them were broken, and the rotted beam was not replaced. I didn't say anything about it when the repair was done, so they may have fixed those things if I'd been more on the ball about inspecting their work. But I don't think the details of the repair were well communicated to the work crew. The actual installation of the piers went well and the house is still level, so the main purpose of the job was achieved well enough."

"  I did moved from New York City to Texas  a couple of years ago and Because of my family and personal business I do.. We decided to buy some land to open lot for used cars sales. Eventually our plans changed and we decided to build a small community and to rent it out... we did t knew anyone in Houston at those time and special a contractor to build a house...
We have found a couple of contractors in the newspaper and we decided to receive some estimates.
All came up to be more expensive then we expected...
We did spoke to some of our neighbors how to find a contractor  and recommended us A. Renovation .. We decided to go with them and we really happy for our decision ....Yes we had some extra work around the Project but everything came to be ok at the end ... And just would like to leave this review as a sign of appreciation to this company..
   Thanks

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Concrete leveling can last anywhere from five to 10 years or more, and in some cases, it can be a permanent solution. The longevity depends on the method used and whether the underlying cause of the sinking is addressed. For example, mudjacking typically lasts five to 10 years, while polyjacking can last for 20 years or more. It's best to consult a professional for an accurate timeline based on your specific situation and any factors that could cause the issue to recur.

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.
