"The technician came to check on it and was very nice and polite. He was able to trouble shoot wiring and put in the new dimmer switch but said that the problem was the chandelier and not the wiring so it needed to be repaired. He said at then end of the visit that I should just give them and call after it was repaired and they would come by and hang the chandelier back up as part of the service call. I called today and different technician came by and wanted to charge an additional $290 to hang the fixture. This would have made a total of almost $600 plus the cost to repair the chandelier. I realize that all rates on everything have gone up but this is ridiculous. I have a friend who renovates houses that will hang it for me. I have nothing personally against this company...but the they should complete the job they started without having to charge double. I asked them to have the manager, Jason, call which he did but his answer was basically "sorry...it is what it is". I could either pay for another service call or leave my chandelier on the dining room table. Bottom line: Be sure if you hire this company and they do not complete the job on the visit you will be charged again for the second service call."

"Pioneer massively overcharged us for some minor electrical work - any other electrician would have charged half of what they charged us. Apparently they subcontract out to other electricians and then double the price. Avoid them at all costs!"

"I was told that charges would begin when they left their shop and would end at the completion of the job. Sadly, I was charged for a trip to and from, neither of which was in the proposal. In speaking to other electrical companies as well as my own 45 years of experience as a home improvement contractor, installing a couple of bath exhaust fans is clearly a one man job, and should've cost around $350 - $400 total. However I found upon their arrival that the company policy is to send 2 men per job whatever the job. I provided a ladder for easy access to the hugely open attic and then proceeded to observe the next 3 hours one man doing 95% of the work as the other basically watched. No problem... accept that I was being charged $70 per hour per man and then told by the rude and unreasonable office personnel, Victor, that he was informed by the techs that I probably would be unhappy with the high charges. Being charged a $280 trip charge as well as $70 per hr. for a "gopher" is pretty excessive. I would never recommend Lloyd's Electric to anyone and am sorry I had to experience using them even once. They did say they enjoyed my wife's fresh German chocolate cake as well as the remainder roll of my "special" tape they took!"

"Because of weather problems Lora and crew were here two weeks early. Scot and his helper cleaned out the trash in the crawl space and prepared to put down the vapor barrier. They did this job a bit out of order because of the COLD weather. The morning they started it was 16* ! Their first task was the vapor barrier. After that the spray foam insulation. Then the old insulation was removed and hauled away. Lora did the job in this order because of the COLD weather. She told me she would NOT leave us with no insulation for any amount of time with temperatures this cold. Lora cares about her customer and works very close with them . She even let me work with them a little bit. I'm an old retired Marine and still like to be involved. I don't think I got in the way too often. Her prices are very reasonable; there is no reason for negotiation. I'll definitely be calling Lora at Green River for any other needs around my home. Thank you Lora & Scot Howard, the Troll"

"My elderly parents hired AA-air to repair their AC/heating unit 6 months ago when their AC went out. They were very prompt and professional. They repaired the unit for close to $900. They also inspected the heating component at that time. My parents were told that although the unit was roughly 13 years old it looked good. This past week their heat went out and were told they needed to replace the unit. The quote they received was $7,966 and I'm not sure if that included labor. We were blown away by the price and got another estimate from someone we have used for our own home and trusted. Upon re-inspection it was agreed upon that the unit did need replacing and probably should have been replaced 6 months ago when it was first serviced by AA-air. When we discussed the previous repair and the cost our repair man felt that my parents were way overcharged. He quoted the same repair for $250 (parts and labor). That is a $650 difference! They ended up having a new unit installed by our heating/air guy for $4,200. Their new unit is not a Trane, which is the only units sold by AA-air. I understand that Trane products are more expensive b/c they are known for their reliability and quality. That being said, it still doesn't explain why they charged $650 more for a repair of an older unit than another repair man would charge on a unit that should've been replaced anyway. I'd hate to think my elderly parents were taken advantage of. If you don't mind being overcharged and only want a Trane product than AA-air is a great choice. They were prompt and professional. However, based on my experience I would recommend another company."
