"From the very beginning it has been an absolute pleasure working with Russell! Honesty, integrity, professional, skilled, and a fair price for service are just a few of the things I can say about everyone involved. Every phone call has been returned in a timely fashion, ordering our materials was explained in great detail and was done so exactly as we were told. Russell has a real eye for the color combination, and we are so happy with the end results. The crew was very professional, on time, and courteous. We were very impressed with the attention to detail that everyone showed! Even details that could have easily been missed by us the homeowner. They worked hard to keep the job site clean as they worked and tidied up often. The crew arrived to do our job and returned daily until it was done. None of this bouncing around from job to job. As our project progressed and grew, Russell and crew were very accommodating to make sure we received the best work possible even changing a little of the game plan to do so along the way. We were WOWED at how they saw our front porch turning and decided to make it even better! They repaired our chimney that was much worse than we realized without gouging us on labor and materials. Then we asked to go ahead with our garage addition while they were here, once again, Russell was more than happy to do so making this entire project seamless!! "Positive Experience with Alex and Brad; Major Concerns with the Owner Chris Smith. A true test of a company's integrity is how they handle a situation when something goes wrong. Our house was flooded during roof replacement. Chris Smith, has never reached out to us, despite over $100,000 in damage to our home. I don't feel it unreasonable to expect the owner to at least reach out and express concern when something of this magnitude happens. Smith's liability ins will cover, but only pays ACV, not replacement cost value RCV. This leaves us responsible for $10,000 - $20,000 to restore our house and replace personal property damaged. I have reached out to Chris multiple times to discuss the situation, he has ignored my calls. How the owner acts says the most about the company. He has some wonderful people working for him, but he is ultimately responsible when something goes wrong. Chris Smith walked away with his bill for the roof paid in full & left us with a mess and a bill."

"They quoted this as a 2-week job. It took over 100 days. They ghosted us for weeks. They were messy, leaving trash and nails in the yard. They ordered the wrong door, and they painted it the wrong color and got paint all over the hardware. They installed a window incorrectly and tried to hide it with spray foam. They didn't overlap or tape the house wrapping. They did not remove the soffit before installing the vented panels. We asked them to fix this, and the owner said no. They damaged the porch. They ordered the wrong size light box and insisted that they were right. The owner called me "nitpicky" for asking them to remove a glob of caulk from the window and mocked me for asking questions. When he left, he said, "I'm glad I recorded that" (he had recorded our conversation). They scratched the glass on the back doors and offered an amount that was less than the replacement estimate, so now we have to file insurance."

"Very poor quality ! Communication is awful no follow up . Finally just paid them because they kept sending the same incompetent crew out and them not knowing what to do or how to do job. The spindals and some deck boards has majors gaps at miters big enough to stick finger in. Loose rails and very poor work . Never did get the gates installed I was promised and they were very cheap looking. Just not happy with rails and gates at all. "

They repaired the ceiling and drywall in my basement. They designed the kitchen and did all of the work themselves except for the countertops which were outsourced to a company they recommended. This project was seamless. They show up when they are supposed to, communicate well, and are very respectful to your property and clean up after themselves. They even returned after they were paid to finish something that had to be special ordered. I really can’t say enough good things about the experience. They are more expensive than some of the other people that I looked at but I think they are worth every penny. No headaches. Will use again."
