Great!  The foreman kept us informed daily on the work to be done the next day and informed us of what had been done for that particular day.  He came to the house every day if not several times a day just to check on the progress being done.  He made sure we were totally satisfied with the work and explained every detail on the why's and what's being done.

Outstanding job! We used Fairfax for a major construction project a few years ago. We had them build an extension to our house. and were extremely pleased. We asked them back when we needed a screen porch.

They were absolutely a wonderful company. He was absolutely very good on design and taking your ideas and going with it and sticking to what you wanted. The foreman was just as good. All the information was handed down to him and he was always there. The people that came in and worked they were just absolutely top notch in the field. When they start they came in and did it on a timely basis. I think it was a good pricing for what they did. I haven't had a problem with anything. They were good people. It was a very good experience. It wasn't like you had to keep calling them back to get stuff done.

We received excellent service and are quite pleased with the finished product. I found that the initial design of the pergola was not to my liking or specifications after it had been constructed and the owner (Tim Neal) had his crew tear down and redo about 1/4 of the work. I offered to pay for the additional work but he maintained that he was responsible for the miscommunication and absorbed the extra cost. They also incorporated the pergola posts into a new deck railing that looks fo much better than what we had before. I would definitely recommend Fairfax Development and Tim Neal for any building job.

The entire process took 5 months. The communication between us and the general contractor was excellent. I never had to wait – they were right on top of it all. Tim, our point person was excellent. He was so picky about being perfect!  The final product is wonderful!

Our house is very old with several different fuse boxes. Keith was very knowledgeable and was able to troubleshoot and discover our problems and was able to repair the difficulties. Keith was always prompt, was tenacious in his work,pleasant, kind, and helpful. He did excellent work in a very professional manner. I highly recommend Pat Murphy Electric, Inc. and especially Keith. He's a true asset to Murphy Electric.

We called Tim Neal to take a look at a hallway floor that was deteriorating and to inspect a separation in the ceiling and walls. Mr. Neal's inspection showed that an HVAC unit located in the hallway was leaking into the crawl space and the moisture was causing the subfloor to deteriorate. Also, the subfloors (which were made of particle board) inside the house where the patio and back doors were also deteriorated. Also, the house had begun to sink because of the deterioration of the subfloors.
The deck was not bolted to the house, and was a safety hazard. They tore down the deck and put up a new deck and bolted it to the house.
Mr. Neal worked with us to find ways to save money, because so much needed to be done. Fairfax Construction had the HVAC unit repaired, went into the crawl space, cleaned up the standing water, replaced a floor truss, jacked up the house, gutted the bathroom,rebuilt the walls and replaced the floors with procelain tile. They moved a hot water tank that was located in a closet to the garage.
Carl supervised the crew, and their work was thorough and complete. I would rate them in all categories as and quot;excellentand quot;, and I would recommend this company to anyone. It was a pleasure working with Mr. Neal, Carl, and all of the workers. We are truly grateful to God that Mr. Neal was recommended to us.

Our home had been severely damaged from hail storms and instead of just repairing the damage we used the opportunity to remove our exterior and start over with a new look. Tim Neal met with us and provided us with great ideas on the remodel and the process. He was very creative and guided us through the available choices on all components. He was able to work within our budget to provide us a stunning new look to the exterior of our home. We went from synthetic stucco to siding with beautiful stone accents around the house and a beautiful eye catching entrance way.
What was very refreshing was how thorough Tim was upfront. The remodel was well planned so that there was no cost overruns and the minor changes we made during the process were covered by cost under runs. His contractors were very professional. His foreman kept on top of everything and made the whole process easy and we were never stressed out about anything. It just went very smooth and we couldn't be happier.
We will be using Tim and his team to remodel our bathrooms next. I highly recommend him!

We started out with the finishing out of the basement and they did such a good job. We used them for the kitchen remodeling, again excellent! They also replaced a storm damaged roof for us. They are easy to work with and honest, not cheap, but good!

Absolutely the best construction project experience. We used them on 2 different projects and would highly recommend. Five stars!!

Foreman was always on site and also did work. Was always able to reach them. Price was a little high, but the work is beautiful and precise (we also live 60 miles from town). Very creative and offered excellent design advise. Very knowledgable.

FairFax provided excellent employees and subcontractors. Work delays were due to supply issues, mainly on the tile. Billing was sometimes late or inaccurate but usually in our favor. Rusty was always willing to work it out.

This was a huge undertaking and it could not have gone better. Abe was invaluable! His expertise in all areas of building and construction is so impressive. He guided us through so many decisions and we could not be happier with our lovely home. The quality of all the employees and workers that worked so h****** our home was outstanding. It was clear that the commitment to quality and the pride in their work is present from the top to the bottom.
Fairfax was not the lowest bid we received but they were not the most expensive bid either. They were well worth the price. After 2 years of living in and loving our home, we would highly recommend Fairfax to anyone.

Everyone we dealt with was professional; honest, up front about the time frame and costs and did exactly what we wanted, even when we were not sure what that was. Materials were all quality and I always felt like we were getting the best price available.
