Customers say: True professional

"Jacob and his crew were very efficient. They took down six trees and trimmed one other. Two of the trees were fairly large. They did a very good job at a reasonable price. They careful and neat. They cut the trees close to the ground as I requested and cleaned up afterward, leaving the site neat and tidy. I was very pleased and would hire the J and T tree service again."

"I was contacted and given an estimate for two trees on a Thursday afternoon. The crew began work on Monday and finished mid day Tuesday. The trees were cut down and completely removed during my work day. I didn’t have to see or hear anything, left one day with trees, came home to a different yard! Great work! Will hire again!"

Customers say: Quick response

"I have been very pleased with Stump Solutions. I had multiple trees cut down by another company but they never came back to remove the stumps like they were hired to do. I felt in a bind but Stump Solutions was able to work us in and got all the stumps cleared quickly. He was very friendly and professional, we would definitely use them again."

"The service was excellent from the first phone call forward. He did EVERYTHING he said he was going to do, on time and with a smile. I talked with other services and they were either somewhat rude or evasive, but Nate was friendly, timely, and his prices were GREAT !!!! Do yourself a favor.....if you need this type of work done, just call Precision Tree Service. You'll be much happier and a lot better off than wasting time getting the run around or a higher quote from some other tree service."

"Alex fell a dead hazardous Oak tree that was in my front yard without any problems. He bucked it up into firewood for me and didn?t leave a trace of tree litter in the yard. Great customer service and communication. Would highly recommend."

"Stephen , Preston and crew were amazing. They gave me a quote when they were in the middle of a job up the street from our cabin. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work, and they were able to do the job the very next day. We had several large trees that were beginning to encroach on our Mountain View. Not only did they take down those trees per the arrangement, but they actually considered what they could do overall to improve our view in the long run. With our permission, they took down a bunch of smaller trees at no extra charge that would have eventually become a problem as well. That is what I call Amazing customer service!! They also hauled away all of the debris and left the area, looking spic and span. Thank you!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Since overwatering can harm mature trees just as much as a lack of water, it’s important to know the signs of an overwatered tree. If your tree’s leaves are yellowing, wilting, or dropping leaves, it’s likely that you’re overwatering. Other common signs include rotting, fungi, soggy soil, soft or peeling bark, falling leaves, and brittle roots.

If you realize that you’ve been overwatering your mature tree, stop watering and give the soil time to dry out. Then moving forward, increase time between watering sessions.

Maple trees start the growing season by developing small groups of red flowers where the tree's fruit, the samaras, will appear in the coming weeks. Later in spring, the samaras, which many call whirlybirds or similar names, develop into single-winged seed carriers that spin when falling or drifting in the wind.

There are several signs that may indicate a tree needs to be cut down. These include visible damage to the trunk or branches, a hollow trunk, extensive storm damage, or a significant lean to one side. Other warning signs are pest infestations or the tree growing too close to a house, power lines, or other structures. It is best to hire a professional arborist to inspect the tree, as they can determine if it can be saved or if removal is necessary.

The shepherd’s tree, native to the Kalahari Desert in Africa, holds the record for the deepest known tree roots at over 230 feet deep. Some African communities refer to it as the “Tree of Life” since it provides food, shade, and medicinal properties to the surrounding community.

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.
