"My job puts me in contact with many contractors in the Jonesborough Tennessee area. I chose Steve and his crew and I was not disappointed. They were very friendly, treated us like family, extremely knowledgeable and very prompt. They completed the job in 3 days as if it was their own home . I recommend HLC Property Management to anyone for large and small projects without hesitation."

"Brad is a true professional. He did exactly what he said he would and a little bit extra. Work was excellent and cleanup was complete. The tree I needed removed was in a very precarious spot by my pool. He and his team removed it quickly and with no damage to the surrounding area or the pool. I highly recommend this company and will be using them for regular upkeep."

"Austin was very friendly and helpful. Kept me informed fully the whole time. I am in Ohio and the job to be done was in TN. Austin went out of his way to help me pay for material using credit at Lowe's to get my military discount. His price was very reasonable and the quality was great. He took great care of my tenant. He worked fast to get work done before the rain came back in. I will keep his info for future work needed. Carol A. in Ohio for job in Greeneville, TN. "I hired them to hang a very large and heavy tv, they came out on time and did the job plus some! He noticed other smaller tvs laying around and offered to hang them as well which was a huge help to me to not have to worry about having to do it! I will hire for every other home project he is up to doing! Highly recommend."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Setting up a pool on unlevel ground is not recommended as it can damage the pool or yard and put the safety of those using it at risk. If a pool isn't level, the water's weight won't distribute evenly, putting excessive pressure on certain parts. This can cause the pool liner to tear or the walls to collapse, leading to water damage, expensive repairs, or potential injury to swimmers. It is more cost-effective to level the ground correctly before installation rather than waiting to address serious structural issues later.

The number of gallons in your pool will determine how much chlorine you’ll need to add to your pool for the first time. Chlorine levels should fall between 1 and 3 ppm. It's crucial to read the instructions on your chlorine packet to determine the number of tablets to put in the water based on your pool's capacity.

If you wait until fall or winter, you might see sales on pools and pool materials, enabling you to save a good amount on this home improvement project. Sometimes pool servicing companies try to make space for next year’s inventory, or the materials are cheaper when fewer construction projects happen during colder months.

Yes, pool pumps use a significant amount of electricity, making them one of the biggest energy consumers in a home. A pool pump can use up to three times as much electricity as a refrigerator. Typically, a residential pool pump consumes about 1 kilowatt-hour (kWh) for every hour it runs. Because pumps often need to run for about eight hours a day to properly filter the water, this can add up to an annual consumption of 3,000 to 5,000 kWh, which can cost between $480 and $800 per year based on average electricity rates.

The amount of electricity your pump uses depends on its size, energy efficiency, and daily run time. To lower your energy consumption, you can choose an energy-efficient or variable-speed pump, ensure it is correctly sized for your pool, and run it only for the minimum time required to keep the water clean.

Fiberglass pools last the longest because they need the least amount of maintenance and do not have liners that can affect a pool's integrity. Concrete pools last the longest, next to fiberglass.
