"I am very pleased with TreebyTree. Michael gave me a fair estimate and great customer service. I had to change the nature of my service twice and Michael never showed any frustration. The service I eventually received was a tree topping that looked great. I would work with and recommend TreebyTree for any tree service."

Customers say: Quick response

"A great father and son Team that spent a lot of time finding the best and more inexpensive way for me to get this job done. The tree was very tall and I decided to go with a crane. But this company gave me additional options and the father and son work very smart together. I was very impressed by their skills. I will be passing their names to all that need their service!"

"I am very happy with the service Wesley and all the people I was in contact with have provided. From the first phone call to the end of the project these people were great. They removed a huge maple tree that died from my yard. They are easy to reach, very responsive, careful not to damage anything, cleaned up the job site completely, very reasonable with the price that is very low and very friendly and respectful in all interactions. They completed this job on June 12, 2026. I will always hire them for any tree service, yard cleanup, outdoor plumbing or fence replacement projects. I highly recommend them to my friends."

"Highly recommend B&B Tree Management. They removed a tree that had fallen on the garage in a recent storm and trimmed several large maple trees at a later date. The work was completed quickly and the yard cleaned of any limbs/sticks and leaves that were the result of the work. Thumbs up to a great group of people!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Any cutting of tree roots can hurt or kill a tree, which is why it's recommended you don’t do it unless the roots are damaging or invasive on a nearby structure like your home. You should never cut more than 15 percent of above-ground tree roots at one time. If you have any questions about cutting tree roots, contact your local arborist.

The felling notch you make before you make the final cut will determine which way the tree will fall. The cut will be in a wedge or triangle, and the tree will fall from the highest point of the triangle. You can use this, as well as the process described above, to estimate where a tree will fall.

In the short term, you’ll have a lot of fallen trees to deal with. Tree removal services costs typically start at $200 per tree and increase based on species and size. Then, you’ll have to deal with the loss of trees: That means a loss of shade and a greater risk of rain runoff and erosion. Also, you’ll miss out on the health and aesthetic benefits of having trees on your property, which could even affect the resale value of your home.

That being said, cutting down a tree it’s not always a bad idea. Trees growing too close to rooftops can present fire hazards or debris problems. You may need to remove diseased or dying trees to prevent future issues.

Dutch elm disease can’t harm humans. In fact, according to Cal Fire, bark beetles aren’t even typically dangerous to trees unless that tree is already weakened. The problem comes when Dutch elm disease kills a tree. That tree is more at risk of falling and catching fire, which can pose a serious threat.

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.
