"This was by far the BEST experience I've EVER had with a contractor! Don Carpenter is a great guy and a very easy guy to work with. He put me at ease the moment I met him for an estimate (he was the first of 4), and I just knew he was a man of integrity. His attention to detail matched my own which was a plus (I am a perfectionist and stickler for details)! He went above and beyond to address and satisfy whatever I brought to his attention. His crew showed up on time every day and worked until just before dark. He promised a 3 day job to thoroughly clean the exterior of my house, power-wash and treat for any mildew and/or stains, replace rotted wood where necessary, caulk and finally paint 2 coats - and he was a man of his word, three days is what it took! I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product! Not only will I rehire him (I'll be needing some internal painting done next spring) but I'm going to recommend him to everyone I know looking for a reasonable, reliable and skilled crew of painters! "He started working right after the contract was signed.  I was not expecting the work to start so soon but he started on the prep work. First he started in the hallway stripping the wallpaper and prepping the area to be painted. Next he applied blue tape to the areas to be painted in the dining room . He then helped to move small items from the Dining Room.  He covered the remaining furniture with plastic.  The next day  he scraped the popcorn from the ceiling mudded and applied the first coats of paint.  He would switch between working on the ceiling, to painting the hall, and painting the back stairway. By the end of the day the work on small hall and back stairway was complete.  The next day he finished painting the Dining Room ceiling.  He then started and finished painting the wood work and walls in the Dining Room.  He started and finished the door last.

They even hung a heavy mirror for me at an unbelievable price- just because I mentioned the new mirror! Very thoughtful! We have an heirloom dresser with a back mirror that’s been broken for years- Jeff has made arrangements for that to be fixed, too! It means a lot to me because it was a present from my late mother. It’s finally being restored to its full glory. They will DEFINITELY be our go-to in the future. I highly recommend them for your go-to also! You can’t go wrong!"
