"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Insurance companies weigh the amount of potential liabilities on your property to increase (or decrease) the cost of your home insurance. Unless you waived the inspection contingency, you can often renegotiate after a home inspection and push for a lower sale price. The seller could reject the new price, offer to carry out the necessary repairs before closing, or offer a seller’s concession, which means they’d take money off the top of the sale price to cover the repairs after closing.

To determine if you’re being overcharged, request an itemized price breakdown of the project. Check for hidden fees or project expenses, from parts to labor, that are clearly overpriced. However, the easiest way to know if a contractor is overcharging you is by getting an estimate for the same project from another professional. Negotiating with a contractor if you have another bid for a lower price is possible.

Permit fees sometimes include the cost of a solar panel inspection, but it depends on local regulations. In some locations, the inspection process involves several site visits with a preinstallation, in-progress, and post-installation inspection. We’ve covered the latter.
