"Wanting to rip up our beige carpet and install black/gray vinyl flooring in the great room and gray/white vinyl in the adjoining kitchen area, we discovered there weren't many dark colors that didn't include shades of brown, something we didn't want. However, Rick came with the perfect samples and it took less than five minutes to decide on the colors. The estimate was a few hundred higher than another, but as I said, he had the exact colors and even with a lot of work to do, he had us scheduled within 3 weeks, not a 2-3 month lag we got from other places. This company probably has a lot of crews, but if you can, get Christie and James to do the work for you. With the furniture moved for them, is was under 2.5 hrs for everything in the great room to be ripped up and hauled outside, all the supplies placed in my garage, and the new floor was ready to go down. About a third of the great room was done on day one, but this area had the most angles and cuts to deal with. This room was finished on day two. The kitchen took all of day three, but there were four appliances to move and work around, two pantry-size closets, and a washer/dryer alcove to do. There might have been 12 pieces or so that did not need some kind of cut made on them. Christie is a whiz with a caulking gun and cutting miter angles in the quarter-round trim (with a hand cutter). The kitchen floor was installed over tile so she had to adjust for a slight height difference between the two areas. She and James worked well together, each knowing what the other was doing and what they needed to do to keep the job moving. No wasted time or movements. Great work, they cleaned up after themselves and even brought our dog some treats. I told Rick that if i do the bedroom floors as well, I would hire them, as long as I could get Christie and James to do the work."

Each visit lasts about 5 hours for which we are charged $250.00 and he performs a great variety of services. We have had him repair plumbing leaks, install grab bars in tiled showers, install sink popups, correct improper wiring in outlets, install GFI outlets, trace wiring circuits and hang large and heavy pictures/paintings in addition to replacing the garage wall unit for the irrigation system, digging up and replacing irrigation heads and crawling under my house to investigate drainage issues. His ability to perform so many different tasks in a professional and courteous manner at reasonable rates makes him a very desirable service provider.
