"Vendor answered his phone. Set up an appointment to visit the repair site. Arrived on time. Presented a fair estimate. Provided a written statement of work listing all particulars. Carpenter arrived on time. Worked continuously for about 10-12 hrs replacing front external steps. Board cuts created tight 45 degree picture-frame fittings. The overall work was very well done. Painting was not included. If I need add'l or new work, I will call this firm and definitely recommend them. "

"We were in need of multiple projects for outside home repairs. We also wanted ONE contractor if possible to go through for all projects. PBR fit the bill and then some. From Soffit / Fascia repair / replacement, pressure washing - re-painting all work, to a seem-less gutter system install, it has been a great experience to have PBR on the job. From start to finish, we have been overwhelmed with their outstanding experience, knowledge of things that needed to be done, timely cost estimates and an immediate response to all projects and a "Top-Notch" job each and every time. We even ran into a repair that was needed on our roof which was not a problem for PBR. It was an additional cost which was to be expected. It was also more than reasonable. Their repair was exacting to code and saved us from a total roof job. The repair was exceptionally well done. The professionalism, attitude and "Can-Do" response was prompt and can not be over-stated! The ease of working with just ONE contractor for all things was also stress-free. We still have one remaining project on the outside of our home that we are currently awaiting an estimate for, from PBR. Our home was built in 1973 and after all these projects were completed, the house looks like new on the outside thanks to PBR and ALL their hired folks. Each and every one were pleasant, easy to work with and we even had fun while these projects were in works. The beauty and appearance of our home now is remarkable. We have had so many compliments from neighbors, friends etc., who pop by and are very impressed by everything they see. PBR made our dreams come true this year and this contractor can do the same for anyone! Kudos to Steven Thornley, Earl Mason and all the folks tied to PBR. We are extremely happy with all the work they have done and we are assured that any / all work done is outstanding and they stand by it all. "Mr. Mike is truly an honest and very admirable handy man. He is true to his word and explains to you everything he is doing on your home remodel project. He listens to you about everything you want in your remodel plans. I was very nervous to find someone to help me redo my front main bathroom again after the first contractor never showed back up to finish the job. Mr. Mike showed up on time. He looked at my floor and looked at my bathroom. He immediately knew I had a water leak. The tile grout was all cracking on the bathroom floor and the bathroom had a terrible smell like old wet rotted wood. Mr. Mike gutted the bathroom again told me there was no rubber liner used for the shower and I had black mold. I was so upset, but Mr. Mike was so nice and calm which made me feel better. He basically rebuilt my entire bathroom. It only took him 5 days. He also found electrical wires by my water lines!! I am over the moon happy about my new bathroom and beautiful floors throughout my whole house. He also installed new interior doors. I loved the guys work and honesty so much that I redid another bathroom in my back bedroom. Mr. Mike is a handy man keeper!"

He values craftsmanship, the details, and ensuring the project is completed the right way the first time. He is extremely thorough, professional and communicative. Imagine that! He is also extremely responsive and professional. While he admittedly doesn't move as fast as he used to, that was not a problem for us at all. We would rather have someone take their time and do the job the right way than work hurriedly. His pricing was fair and he is willing to do both small and large jobs. We will absolutely use him again for our finish carpentry needs."

"We had a deck replaced (down to the joists) with composite decking, side rails and base enclosure. The installation crew was thoroughly professional and efficient. All the joists were covered in waterproof tape before the decking was installed. Not only was the distance between planks carefully measured, the location of every single screw was also precisely measured. The result overall is a "show-stopper," even better than I had expected. The price was on the high side, so I wavered on the rating of "value for money," ultimately going with the "value" end."
