"Steven and his crew saved us from construction purgatory. After we had a dishwasher leak, the floors under our kitchen island were soaked and needed replacing - a prior company came and gutted our kitchen (no island, no sink, no dishwasher, no flooring), then ghosted us for the rebuild. After months desperately looking for someone to fix our kitchen, thankfully a neighbor recommended me to Steven. Steven immediately jumped to action and had my floors installed within a week or two - we could finally stop tripping over jagged wood / staples! He guided me on how to order my cabinets so we would receive the right products (and saved us money in the process). He was communicative as we awaited their delivery, and once they were in he had his guys install them beautifully, and finish our island better than new. I am so grateful every day to have been connected with him. Steven even introduced us to the air switch for our garbage disposal - a modification that I've been loving! I will absolutely work with him and Michaels Construction again in the future, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a contractor they can actually rely on."

They did great work, and followed up with any questions I had. They fixed an issue when one arose quickly (same day). I have had a lot of renovations done over the years. Bluebird was one of the best contractors I have dealt with. I will definitely contact Bluebird first if we need any more work done!"

"We had a deck replaced (down to the joists) with composite decking, side rails and base enclosure. The installation crew was thoroughly professional and efficient. All the joists were covered in waterproof tape before the decking was installed. Not only was the distance between planks carefully measured, the location of every single screw was also precisely measured. The result overall is a "show-stopper," even better than I had expected. The price was on the high side, so I wavered on the rating of "value for money," ultimately going with the "value" end."

"Derek and his worker Rogelio were all one could ask for! They arrived on time for multiple visits, charge very reasonable rates, do the list of jobs & cleanup. They were polite and knowledgeable in all my 8 areas of need. Freeman Repair are outstanding in every way and most of all do excellent work! After experiencing other handymen, they are such a pleasure."

"Mr. Mike is truly an honest and very admirable handy man. He is true to his word and explains to you everything he is doing on your home remodel project. He listens to you about everything you want in your remodel plans. I was very nervous to find someone to help me redo my front main bathroom again after the first contractor never showed back up to finish the job. Mr. Mike showed up on time. He looked at my floor and looked at my bathroom. He immediately knew I had a water leak. The tile grout was all cracking on the bathroom floor and the bathroom had a terrible smell like old wet rotted wood. Mr. Mike gutted the bathroom again told me there was no rubber liner used for the shower and I had black mold. I was so upset, but Mr. Mike was so nice and calm which made me feel better. He basically rebuilt my entire bathroom. It only took him 5 days. He also found electrical wires by my water lines!! I am over the moon happy about my new bathroom and beautiful floors throughout my whole house. He also installed new interior doors. I loved the guys work and honesty so much that I redid another bathroom in my back bedroom. Mr. Mike is a handy man keeper!"

"Mike is a rarity! We are so pleased we found and used Mike for our staircase remodel and echo all of the points made in prior Angie's List reviews. He is not rushed. He values craftsmanship, the details, and ensuring the project is completed the right way the first time. He is extremely thorough, professional and communicative. Imagine that! He is also extremely responsive and professional. While he admittedly doesn't move as fast as he used to, that was not a problem for us at all. We would rather have someone take their time and do the job the right way than work hurriedly. His pricing was fair and he is willing to do both small and large jobs. We will absolutely use him again for our finish carpentry needs."
