"We had some issues with our crawlspace. Critters had found their way in and pulled down about half of the insulation and made a mess in the crawlspace. The installer I believe was Joe, he pulled all the old insulation out as well as the old vapor barrier. He installed the new vapor barrier as well as new insulation. When he was finished he removed and cleaned up all the old insulation and vapor barrier. From the outside of the house you couldn't tell anything was done. I am very impressed with this company and high recommend their services."

"Did not do work, but pricing was competitive with everyone else.  Invoice got lost in junk e-mail, so did not think I ever received invoice, but I found it a month or so after job was completed again.  If\when I have another job will call All Foam and make sure Invoice doesn't get lost in junk e-mail!

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on insulation material, labor, accessibility, and whether existing insulation requires removal.

If you’re moving wires, installing new wires, or installing new fixtures in the space you’re insulating, then you will need to hire a licensed electrician to do that portion of the job for you. However, if you just intend on replacing old insulation or adding new insulation over existing insulation, then you don’t need to hire one. Your insulation installer will work around wiring, fixtures, outlets, and switches, even if they’re installing fiberglass batts in the voids where wires run. However, you will need an electrician if you suspect a problem with your wiring during the insulation work.

If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.

An outdoor spigot needs some attention before the temperatures begin to drop. Using an insulative cover is just one part of minimizing a frozen spigot and pipes. You’ll also need to shut off the water and drain the spigot, which leaves as little water as possible in the pipes to prevent freezing.

There are several strategic ways to lower your home insurance premium. The primary one is to shop around and get quotes every few years to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Also, sometimes bundling your auto and homeowner’s insurance will get you a discount on both. Finally, try to keep your credit score up; many homeowner insurance companies use credit scores to generate quotes.
