"Watkins Landscaping removed a tree from my front yard whose roots were growing wildly underground and pushing against the foundation of my house. The landscaping team was timely and worked professionally throughout the duration of the project. The tree and its roots were removed without issue or complication. They then stabilized and seeded the soil and clean the work area thoroughly. I would definitely hire Watkins Landscaping again."

"Benny answered my calls and did what he said he would do in a timely and professional manner. My clients decided not to buy the house so we did not have any roofing work done.

"Everything was great. They moved around a storage shed, fence and rocks to remove the dead tree I was concerned about once our next ice storm hits without damaging anything around the tree. They were prompt, he was great staying in touch me during the process and removed everything after the job was done. Great price for the job."

"He did leak repair around a fan vent. It came with a one year warranty. He is going to put a new roof on my home next year."

"I had an old raggedy 2500 square foot house I needed tore down and the ground completely leveled and MGT Enterprise were life savers. When I called and asked for a quote they were there with bells on to give me my free estimate. I called several other excavation companies to get other quotes and opinions. MGT Enterprise was definitely not the cheapest estimate I received but it was well worth the price. The owner, Shaun, informed me the quote was a ball park estimate but the price for whatever reason would not go up. He then called several places for all the materials to be hauled to and from for the best prices and shortest distance to save me as much money as possible. My final price was almost $3000 less than the price I was quoted. WOW! When choosing who to hire I looked for quality not quantity and they were the best. Everyone had great personalities and attitudes, very punctual and just all around a great team. Their honesty and integrity was very important to me. I will most definitely be calling them again."

"These guys have a busy schedule, so it took them a few weeks before they could come out, but it was worth the wait. The whole thing went very well and the work took about 3 days to complete. I had a couple special requests to try to make the new section of the driveway blend as much as possible with the existing driveway, including putting lines and curves that matched what was there. They were able to accommodate those requests. They cleaned up well when they were done. After the concrete dried, I started using it immediately. It's a very welcome addition to my home. They're a nice, professional crew. I will hire them again in the future.

Before hiring a snow removal company, it’s essential first to ask questions to understand the details thoroughly. Since every company has different policies and snow removal methods, it’s best to clarify upfront before you’re left in a heap of snow. Some starting questions to consider include:
What are the procedures for a snowstorm? Do I need to call you each time, or do you automatically come out?
Do you wait until after the snow has stopped falling or make multiple passes throughout the storm?
What is your method of removal?
Do you use salt after the snow is removed? Is it pet-safe?
How does your billing work? Do you bill extra for blizzard conditions?
Can I sign an annual contract, or do you bill for each storm?
The cost of an annual snow removal contract is $200 to $600. This cost is significantly impacted by the area you live in. Places that don’t receive considerable snowfall might charge less for an annual contract, and those areas that get heaps of snow throughout the fall and winter can expect to pay on the higher side. In addition, property size, expected response time, and extra services like clearing a sidewalk can also impact your cost.
Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.
Depending on where you live and your average snowfall, removing snow from your property yourself with either a shovel or a snowblower is reasonable. A snow shovel costs around $60, and a snowblower can range from $100 to $2,300. However, taking a DIY approach to this isn’t always the best option. In these cases, it’s best to hire a professional snow removal company:
If you have a large property or an extended area that needs clearing
If you have certain health conditions, such as mobility issues
If you want to save time or need the snow removed ASAP
If you live in an area with frequent heavy snowfall and want to offset your time spent
If you lack the space to store snow removal equipment
It’s no surprise that removing snow from your driveway makes coming and going significantly easier and lowers the risk of falling. However, it’s important to note that if you don’t remove snow from your driveway, you run the risk of damaging your paving. As the snow melts, water can seep into your driveway. This can lead to the formation of cracks. When the water freezes, this expands the minor cracks, leading to more significant damage.
