Not good, just completed the work and escaped. Didn't take calls to do the service. Never explains what they are doing, don't take our opinion in where to put the controls. No diagram of irrigation. I would never recommend this company.

Very bad. They messed up my whole lawn. They killed my sod at the front yard. Never Never they show up on time or they address your communication. Stay away from them.

This was a $119 big deal service for lawn treatment and overseeding. For the most part they did what they were supposed to do except for the fact that we had had a lot of rain in October and were about to get out of the fall season to be able to aerate and seed. They were behind on their jobs because they could not do it because of the weather. When the weather finally cleared up they were in a rush to do it and it started raining the minute they got here. They said they could do it if I wanted done and I did not know any better because I have never core aerated the lawn myself, but as they were doing it and as they were leaving the rain was so heavy that it filled all the holes right back in and it washed the seed away. The people were younger and not quite as experienced. I kind of feel like the owner or somebody should have told me as badly as I wanted it done it would have been a waste of my money. A ton of seed washed into my neighbor's yard. They were really nice and were out working in the pouring rain trying to get it done as quick as they could but they should have realized that it was going to do nothing. The price would have been fair if I had gotten anything for it. They did something that they should not have done. They were pretty good about calling and letting me know it was going to be a little time because of the weather. I don't think anyone ever called back asking how it had gone. They were punctual.

First off it was great - but the last couple of weeks it was a challenge just to have them come out - texting and calling they stated they would be out on a certain day - this kept happening but never arrived - we did go with another company - this company is not dependable

Worse experience ever by a vendor I've contracted services with. They've completed 20% of what I've paid for and based on all the other reviews here and their choice not to return my numerous calls I'm quite certain I've thrown away my money. Seems pretty clear from others here also that angie's list is not willing to back up the products they sell and the guarantee they imply.
If services are only guaranteed for 30 days then big deals that provide services for 2 to 12 months should not be available. Period.
Frankly I'm discouraged with the whole process and not sure angie's is worth my time and money.
The provider's address is clearly listed here. Maybe we all need to pay them a visit together and request a refund.

Only mowing was done and sporadically, none of the other services were performed. Through April, my lawn had gone for two week periods of not being mowed. It is now 3 weeks and no one has been here or called. The last communication I had was April 14th which was an email through Angie's List that they would get back to me on price for an additional service. Never received a response. I became suspicious when I read the other negative reviews. I tried to click on their website from Angie's List link., It no longer exists. I would like a refund so I can get a reliable provider. I am in an area with a homeowner's association and the lawn needs to be maintained per our association rules.

Awful. I had trouble from the beginning in getting them to show up as outlined in the agreement. I had a bit of sympathy with them in beginning since he said he was overwhelmed with the new work and trying to get the schedule worked out. But, they haven't worked it out. They failed to show up for over one month during winter and I should have initiated this process at that point. I called, texted, etc routinely to advise of the issue. I did speak with him in mid April when I called from another phone number and told him that is unacceptable to get paid for a service and then fail to perform as indicated in the agreement. He said he'd take care of it and they came to mow one time since then so I left one last message beginning of the week and no response or work performed. My yard looks terrible and I'm going to have to pay someone else to mow it since my mower is broken. I'm out a lot of money so writing this so the dispute resolution process can begin.

They didn't come to my door, never introduced themselves, never asked what I wanted, and they didn't complete everything included in the deal I purchased. The last time they came was April 29th. I have called several and emailed times and they have not responded back to me. I basically paid $999.00 for only 4 mowings.

We accepted Angie's List special deal for 4-weeks lawn services from Aristocrat Group. They did a good job, so we added the special deal of 1-years lawn service for $999, paid in full in September 12, 2015. The crew initially did a good job through the fall/winter, although we were concerned that they had no schedule -- they just showed up whenever they could. The intervals between service seemed to extend to the point that we had to call them to request service when the lawn looked really bad. Things got really bad in the spring, when the grass started to grow. Although we made numerous phone calls and sent several e:mails, we had only one lawn service during the 7-week period between April 1 and May 21 -- with the peak new-growth period and ample rainfall during May, our yard was a disaster. After several futile attempts to get the contractor to respond, I mowed the lawn myself (on 05/21/2016) -- it was like baling hay.
This contractor should not be allowed to continue offering services through Angie's List, and further, should be prosecuted for fraud for taking compensation for services not rendered.

The few times they did service the yard it was done adequately and as expected. We had no issue when the work was performed. We just had terrible issues with getting them to do the work!

They have mowed a handful of times since the beginning of the year and haven't showed up or responded to me in over two weeks. They aren't living up to the agreement.

Never stayed two hours for initial clean up as advertised in deal. They did come weekly from date of purchase until first week of November. That was about the only time they have been to our home consistently. The deal was weekly from April to November, then biweekly from November to the following April.They spread a few bags of mulch the week of Thanksgiving after they were contacted on multiple occasions via phone and email. They have only been to the house 4-5 times since November 2015. They never weed the beds, and if something happens to be on the lawn (ex. tree branch) they just leave it in the yard and mow around it. When they are here, it's for less than a half hour. They have been contacted on several occasions asking when they would come by and its always impossible to get an answer from them. The owner never returns phone calls. They were emailed at the end of winter about pricing for additional landscaping work in the yard which they never even bothered to respond to. We have three dogs and the gate to our backyard has been left wide open after they leave. It is now May and our yard looks horrendous. The grass is about a foot tall and we haven't seen them in over two weeks.

Horrible communication. They haven’t honored the agreement by coming weekly, the only time they come out to do the work is by request. There’s always an excuse and they have never been forthcoming with their communication. Now they have not been communicative at all. Texts messages and voicemail messages are not replied to and the Angie’s list phone number states the voicemail is full and can not leave a message.

Though I bought the deal at the end of 2015, I requested that it not start until the beginning of 2016. I am not sure exactly how many times they showed up to mow January through March, maybe three times at most. In April, when according to the contract they were supposed to start mowing weekly, I found myself mowing the lawn myself. I contacted them and was assured they would be out weekly going forward. Unfortunately that did not happen. I contacted them again and there was no response, so I found myself mowing the lawn myself yet again.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They took my money and didn't provide the service I was promised. I find that to be a real shame.

Allow me to rant please. I'm home early on 85 degree... sounds nice? Nope. Let me explain. I am home early because, 7 months ago I got a great new and very busy job. Since I wouldn't be paying $140 a month to park in Uptown, I decided to treat myself to not spending half my weekend doing yardwork so I purchased a year-long yard service package on Angie's List. For the first appointment/consultation, the guy no-shows me. "Oops, I had it on my calendar for the wrong day". And so begins a very rocky relationship with the Aristocrat Group of Rockwell, NC. And so, after not showing up for 2 weeks and not answering texts and emails, I finally get ahold of the owner yesterday (called from a different number) and long story short, he's too overwhelmed by all the business he got from Angie's List and is "trying to figure out how to get rid of all these Angie's List people". Umm, WHAT? You offered a year service on the site, you were paid for a year but after 6 mos, you're too busy and it's costing you too much to honor that commitment???? "I'm trying to figure it out. I'll call you tomorrow." Sure, I believe you. So I call Angie's List to 1) tell them they need to stop advertising deals from this guy's company because he clearly doesn't want nor can he handle the business and 2) ask what they're going to do to stand behind the deal the offer. Well, today I get a call back that they spoke to him and he is supposed to call me today with solution (yeah, ok) and that they only stand behind deals they offer for 30 days. So I ask, why do you offer deals on work that extends beyond 30 days then? "Oh, that's a good question." So, my recourse is to go on their site, give him his rightful review and start a "dispute and resolution"... heaven knows how long that will take and if I'll get any of my money back. Oh and did I get that promised phone call today? What do you think! So, off work early to come home and try to get the mower through 2 weeks of rain and growth, in the heat, trying to beat the rain coming this afternoon which would make it too wet to mow for another couple of days and add to the ridculous growth. Moral of the story kids, anyone in the CLT area needs to stay away from the Aristocrat Group and until they prove otherwise, don't trust Angie's List to have your back!!!

They were intermittent during the fall/winter as I had to constantly remind them to come by the house, but they would respond and eventually come. Now in the spring/summer they have completely disappeared. I've left many voicemails, texts, e-mails, and they haven't responded. The grass in my house is very high and they haven't performed service in over3 weeks; which is unacceptable. This is the prime season to cut grass and it's a shame that they don't communicate at all.

In August of 2015 I purchased a 1 year yard maintenance program from the Aristocrat Group. Over that 12 month period the services that were to be provided were up to 35 seasonal mowings of all designated areas, edging curbs, and walkways, edging plant beds and natural areas, removal of debris and litter from plant beds and lawn area, bed weed removal and control as needed. Property walks upon completion of weekly work to ensure quality. Shrub pruning and removal of clippings four times a year, aeration and seeding of lawn one time per year, flowerbed maintenance and weed control along with pre-emergent application in winter. I was very happy with the work of the group and their promptness up until 3 weeks ago when out of nowhere they stopped all communication with me or showing up to provide services. I was so happy with their work in fact that I contracted them to power wash my patio and seal it. Starting 3 weeks ago on May 5 when they did not show up for their normal Thursday yard service I emailed Eddie through Angie's List site and received no response from him. I emailed him again three days later asking when he thought they would be out to provide their normal yard services as my yard was getting extremely long and I was concerned that I would be getting a letter from my HOA. I still did not get a response. I emailed again a third time as well as leaving a phone message with Mark Howard the contact listed on the Angie's List website. I waited two more additional days with still no return email or phone message. It was at this time that I contacted Angie's List customer service department to see what could be done to handle my problem. As I told the Angie's List representative, I completely understood that this is a busy time of year for landscaping companies and they were probably behind with their usual visits due to the rain. All I was looking for was a return email or phone call letting me know when they expected to be out to fulfill their services. After two weeks of no response I contacted Angie's List to see how best to handle the situation.

Little to no response through Angieslist. I had to to contact the company a few times via email and phone. Once I made contact scheduled the service. When day of service came, no one showed up or called. After a few weeks of back and forth, I decided to cancel through AngiesList customer service. They should up the next day to complete the work.
I recall we had a lot of rain during the time of service. I'm assuming the weather played a big part in the work being postponed. My biggest complaint was regarding the lack of communication. The overall work was fine.
