I purchased a "deal" offered by Tru Roof in July. I emailed them after purchase to inquire about color samples and get the ball rolling on install. They were immediately in touch and dropped off the color boards for me to pick the shingle color. I selected the color, and Bennie came out to inspect my roof. I also inquired about gutters. After getting all the dimensions he told me my roof was larger than the allotted 2000sq. ft. and that additional payment would be required for the additional square footage and the slope of the roof line. I decided to pass on the install of gutters since my cost of the roof had now increased, but agreed on the additional payment and he scheduled me for install the first week of August. The install was pushed back by two weeks due to weather, other jobs he had going, and waiting for my shingles to arrive. When my shingles did arrive, they were the wrong color. Not the shingle I had asked for. Bennie called and asked if I would still take these shingles, and offered me a credit if I would. I asked if he would be willing to install the gutters in place of the credit, and he agreed.
His crew came out early on the morning of 8/16 and immediately began tearing the shingles off the roof. The worked fast and efficient, but were not quite as clean as I would prefer. They were unable to completely finish the job on Saturday and returned early Sunday morning to finish the last bit of install and to clean up. Bennie came out later that day to install the gutters. I talked through some of my concerns from the install - bent flashing, shingles that looked a bit pinched, etc.. And he said he would have someone come out and take care of that - They never did.
After installing the gutters he told me he did not have brackets in black to secure them, that he would have to order the brackets, and would be back out to install them - I followed up with him 3 times regarding the brackets, each time being told they were coming. They never came, and he never came back. He also said he would put a splash guard up on the back corner of the house - never happened. The worst part is the gutters leak - they leaked immediately after install, which I text and emailed him about - and thought would be addressed when he came out to put the brackets on to secure the gutters, but it has been 3 months and I have had zero follow up.
My roof looks great, and I am happy with the roof itself, but very disappointed in the gutters and the lack of follow-up and follow through. Should I need roofing care in the future, it will not be with this company.

Excellent job.  Estimate was right on  Crew was on time and thorough.  Removed old shingles,  laid new 30# felt and replaced shingles.  Protected shrubbery around entire house as well as flower beds. 
Cleaned up very well and even used magnets to pick up all the nails..

From start to finish, working with Benny Shaw was a pleasure.  He went out of his way to explain everything; his crew was punctual and well-supervised; they didn't hurt any foundation plantings and cleaned up every single nail off the ground.  I would definitely use him again for our new home.

This company is a little scattered! Benny's a nice guy but it took a lot of reminders to get the job done. We did have some bad weather so I'll give them that. It's been two months, the job is done but I've yet to receive a report! We've spoken numerous times in which I get a promise to send by email.

It was fine.  The deal covered the gutter cleaning. They were very nice knowledgeable and honest.

We originally purchased "The Big Deal" for this $179. roof maintenance and inspection on 4/20/2014. Benny Shaw did call us in a timely manner but he did not show up when he said he would nor did he call. Weeks went by and we eventually called him. He was very apologetic stating he had had a tremendous response to his offer on Angie's List and we had apparently been lost in the shuffle. We did appreciate the fact that Benny used a video camera to show us the problem he found and  when he did send a man to do the work he was punctual and professional. We must add however that when Benny first quoted us $750. for the work he was estimating that it would take two men two days. We did not get this in writing and when we reminded him that it had only taken one man working half a day he only reduced the cost to $500.

Weather was not cooperating, but they did put it on as soon as they could.  Did a professional job.

It went very well.  The owner explained in detail what our roof problems are and how to correct them.  He calked an obvious area of
concern and told us what we could do if the leaks persisted.  He then said he would send us quotes for each solution if we decide to go with a more permanent solution.  He was very professional and we could tell that he knew his business.

Benny was wonderful to work with! Because of rain our job was delayed, but it was well worth the wait!! The guys had my roof demoed and finished (including cutting a new ridge vent) in less than 8 hours! The team was fast and efficient and left my yard clean of any mess. Would definitely recommend him to any friend!

Benny found a place where a nail had evidently popped up long ago, allowing water to leak in - some of the decking below had actually deteriorated. Others had looked at it previously, but had been unable to find the exact problem - it was indeed obscure.  We have had several good showers since with no sign of a leak.

What a pleasure dealing with TruRoof. Quality professional work, Very competitive price, and a  team committed to making sure the job is done right. Bennie is a great person to work with. Provides good helpful suggestions. We would never have considered black gutters and downspouts to accent the new roof. Makes the house look very nice. Highly recommend this company.

That turned out well. He never sent me a receipt for the additional cost for the service though. I spent another $170 for him to fix my chimney and do the re-flashing of the chimney since it needed to be re-done. He came back the next day to do that after the initial inspection.

Late due to truck problems. Arrived ~1pm; called supv to have come back for roof debris removal; finished job satisfactorily by 5pm.  Installed gutter covers at no cost a few months later to make up for response delay.
