The roof looks nice but leaks badly. There are 7 areas that leak and most of the issues seem to be with the skylights. I've called Bill several times, sent him emails, and have even sent pictures of the puddles on the floor after it rains. Tried calling again today but it sounds like his phone is no longer in service. Bill is a nice guy and he always has an excuse for why he hasn't made it back to fix the issues but at this point we're starting to wonder whether our "20 year warranty" on this new roof is worth anything.

"First of allI did (Bill Nolan) come out when he had tree small leaks on the Wharehouse in which the framing had been a huge issue bc of its sturdiness and it had over 18000 screws that had been installed, so as this type of roofing they chose sometimes has. I have always answered his calls even on a prior job in which we did his office building in which we did an Epdm, which turned out to be nothing more than a plumbing issue. As for the second job we did for them the only time my phone is ever off was when we changed office numbers and the problem was that Member jumped the gun and as for the reason we dont return his calls is that we explained to him was that when he had one of "his buddies" to "tinker" with the roof from another company it voided his warranty. I told him good bye and good luck at that point but I took this all up with the BBB."

He did leak repair around a fan vent. It came with a one year warranty. He is going to put a new roof on my home next year.

I showed them the inspection report and request for repairs I had received. They agreed the nail holes in the roof needed to be caulked and quoted me $500. I was in a bind and had to have the work done, although I thought this cost was quite high for a job that took just over an hour.

"As in some cases the owner doesnt know what a repair entails and we did actually alot for the mere $500. Sometimes people think they can get hard work for dirt cheap but to this day I have yet to see them get up on a roof and risk their life as we do every day and I see from al th othe ratings on the job shewas pleased with the work and we did fit her in last minute."

THE ROOF LOOKS FINE AND THEY PUT A GOOD GRADE OF SHINGLES ON. THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB WITH THE GUTTERS. I HAVE A ZIP LOCK BAG FULL OF ROOFING NAILS THAT I HAVE PICKED UP AND I HAD TO REPLACE TWO FLAT TIRES. THEY SHOULD HAVE USED A MAGNET WHICH IS WHAT I USED. I WOULD SAY OVERALL THE TEAM WAS EXCELLENT I WAS JUST DISAPPOINTED WITH THE NAILS.

I had a water stain on my ceiling from all the recent rains and knew something must be wrong with the roof. I called Bill, and he and his team came the same day. They even arrived early. He checked out my roof and was able to do the work right then. He was very courteous and professional as well. I would definitely call them again.

THE ONLY THING MR NOLAN DID TO SATISFY ME WAS THE 50 DOLLARS HE DISCOUNTED BECAUSE OF THE NAIL MY DAUGHTER STEPPED ON AND HE SENT THE WORKERS BACK TO SWEEP FOR NAILS AGAIN (AFTER I HAD REMOVED 3 QUARTS OF NAILS). HE HUNG UP ON ME DURING MY FIRST PHONE CALL & NEVER RETURNED ANY OF MY CALLS AFTER THAT. THAT IS THE PRIMARY REASON I WENT TO THE BBB & YOUR LIST FOR REMEDY OF THIS DISPUTE. 3. MR. NOLAN'S REMARKS ABOUT MY "BULLYING WAYS" AND "SENILITY" ARE NOT TRUE. EVEN IF HE THINKS IT'S TRUE, THAT'S NO WAY TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER. 4. FINALLY, I NEVER SAID I WAS "THE WORST CLIENT" HE EVER HAD. THIS DISPUTE IS ENDING IN A STALEMATE. I AM TIRED OF PURSUING THIS MATTER, BUT DID NOT WISH READERS TO BE LEFT WITH AN INACCURATE POINT OF VIEW. I HOPE THIS GIVES READERS THE INFORMATION THEY NEED TO MAKE AN INFORMED DECISION ABOUT ARGONAUT ROOFING!

"We in every way have been accommodating to her. We gave her $50 off already because her daughter (an adult) walked through an area and stepped on a nail even though told not to do so! She originally kept back retainer until the clean-up was to her standards, and even asked us if she was the worst client we ever had. We have done all we can do in every way and she isn't a person that is just looking for a pay off. All she has is done is bad mouth my company. I am sick of her & her bullying ways of asking BBB and now Angie's List against me after we have done everything for her. At this point, I would like to just see her on her coveted lawnmower, ride off into the sunset with her accompanying senility not too far behind. William Nolac-Owner"

They were very polite and looked at doing more work but I didn't hear back from them. They did, however, give a bid for replacing the roof.

Bill Nolan came and gave a very competitive bid. He said he would start within a few days and he was true to his word. The foreman, Danny was very skilled and kept the crew busy at all times. He also did some carpentry and was quite reasonable with the price. Overall, I was very pleased with the job they did. When they left they cleaned up exceptionally well. I highly recommend this company.

Four very professional, courteous and knowledgeable workers showed up on the appropriate day at the appropriate time and had the job completed and cleaned up in a day and a half. They seemed to go overboard to make sure the job was done correctly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Bill and his crew have done a great job on this work. They are reasonably priced and willing to work hard (including doing jobs over the weekend to get more in their schedule).

EXCELLENT WORK - PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND COMPLETED THE WORK WELL. THEY ALSO CHECKED MY ROOF AND GAVE ME A WARRANTY FOR A YEAR ON THE ENTIRE ROOF. GOOD CONTRACTOR.

THEY DID NICE WORK - BILL HELPED ME SELECT THE PROPER REPLACEMENT UNITS AND ORDERED THEM FOR ME. THEY CAME AND INSTALLED THEM WITHIN A WEEK AND DID A NICE JOB. PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE.

HE WAS ON TIME, EFFICIENT, HALF THE COST OF OTHER LARGER COMPANIES. HE SHOWED ME THE DAMAGED BOOTS. GAVE ME CONFIDENCE ON HIS ABILITY & HONESTY. HE ALSO GAVE THE ROOF A ONCE OVER, POINTED OUT SOME ISSUES WITHOUT SEEMING THAT HE WAS TRYING TO CREATE WORK FOR HIMSELF.
