"Excellent. Darian is a straight shooter. I highly recommend going with a small operation like his and avoiding the big players who have high overhead costs and greater financial motivations. I made a few phone calls and started with a company that was highly rated, but I also noticed sky-high costs involved. They charged a $95 trip fee which was excessive, but I wanted to get help ASAP because my renters was very worried. The estimate was for nearly $3000. I immediately knew that was off the wall. Then I called Darian. He was easy going and told me there wouldn't be a trip fee. He diagnosed the job and proposed nearly the same course of action minus a completely unnecessary $1000 repair of something that wasn't broken. His estimate was less than a quarter of the original quote and he did the work without any snags. The final cost didn't exceed the original. I even questioned the cost in the beginning and thought it should cost MORE for disinfectant, but Darian said it was no problem. The work isn't rocket science. Darian could have done $2000 worth of work but he recommended an incremental approach, addressing what was truly required and taking prudent proactive measures, rather than every possible action and running up the price. He did a thorough, honest job."

It went great. These men were on time every visit, cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. Did the job as promised. Couldn't have gone any better....well, poor Dax got bat poop all over himself from emptying the soffit of the guano. I feel sorry for whoever does the laundry in his house! Highly recommend the Wildlife Guys!!

"Absolutely fantastic! Blake shows up on time, works really hard and did an amazing job of screening our crawlspace and getting rid of rats that had made their way under our house (along with a few other critters like possums too). He is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, and his work had immediate effect. I highly recommend him."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Rabbits face a range of formidable adversaries in rural and suburban areas. Natural predators such as hawks, foxes, bobcats, raccoons, coyotes, and weasels pose significant threats to their survival. These skilled hunters target bunnies for food, contributing to regulating rabbit populations. Outdoor housepets can be enemies, too, particularly dogs and cats. And loud little humans playing in your yard make great rabbit deterrents, too.

When woodpeckers start banging on your walls or roof, they are probably looking for insects to eat, storing nuts for winter, drilling a hole to make a nest, or communicating with other birds to establish territory or find a mate.

The size of the hole can help determine the reason for the pecking. Small irregular holes are a result of insect hunts. Acorn holes are more consistently sized and often fitted with a nut in the middle. Nest holes are large and have rounded edges. If the bird is pecking to mark its territory or attract a mate, it may leave dents rather than holes, and the noise will stop when the mating season starts in spring.

This depends on if their needs are being met. They'll likely return night after night if they have access to food, water, and adequate shelter. If this changes, they’ll look for another roosting spot. This is why bright lights and other dissuading factors often work when removing bats from a property.

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Other animals, however, may have a harder time and will require the help of a professional to escape. Squirrels and raccoons in particular may become stuck inside a chimney, especially if you have a buildup of soot or creosote inside. This can prevent them from being able to climb out, in which case you’ll need to call an animal control expert to help remove them.

The brown recluse has numerous predators in the wild (or close to your home). They are a valuable part of the ecosystem, too. Their predators often include birds, praying mantis, crickets, chickens, spider wasps, and more. However, the brown recluse spider is a master at hiding, making it much more difficult for predators to hunt them.
