 I had a terrible time trying to find a quality contractor who would give me a fair price that was anywhere near what the insurance company estimated the job to cost. Most seemed to just want to push the insurance company to their limit or didn't bother to get back to me. 
 I found AHS and David on Angie's list. I received a timely proposal that was far better than any others I had gotten. After careful consideration, i decided to work with David. He started on time and finished ahead of schedule , even though there were some slight delays out of his control. I was forced to live in a hotel for the duration of the project. His crew was friendly and his wife, Dee, was very helpful in helping me with a second eye on design choices. AHS handled everything from moving contents, ripping out and replacing my kitchen , wood flooring and a bathroom , as well as plumbing, slight electrical and painting practically my whole house. 
Both David and his whole crew had a very easy going demeanor and a willingness to work with me and add line items  as we went along. I enjoyed working with a more mom and pop type operation but the results were as I would have expected from a much larger one. This was not a small job, and it was very stressful to have almost your whole house removed and replaced , but AHS rewarded me for my faith with a quality job. David has been back already to adjust a few small issues and the job is complete!
