"Peace of mind at last! Joffre was wonderful explaining everything and even came over to our home during install to answer any further questions. Pat was an excellent installer and we can finally be rest assured that we are safe at home and away. Thanks again Alarm Protection Group!"

"Bentley's was the most responsive of the five companies I contacted for estimates to replace my 16 year old 5-ton gas / electric package HVAC unit and showed up on time as scheduled to evaluate my situation. Estimates from other companies ranged from $5710 for inferior package units from other manufacturers and $7900 from another company that told me I would have to wait three weeks for the same unit that Bentley's installed. After using a wood burning stove and a space heater for a week and a half to heat up the house, there was no way I was waiting three weeks for the same unit that Mike and his crew were able to install the same week at a significantly lower price. I ended up picking Bentley's because of the company's reputation, price reasonableness, and the fact that Mike was the most personable and honest - at no point did I feel like he was pressuring me and he never tried to sell me anything I didn't need. He offered solutions to save me money, which was a pleasant surprise.
I ended up going with a top of the line Rheem / Ruud unit with a WiFi thermostat and couldn't be happier. Mike's crew rocked and despite the poor weather (rain on and off all day) they did an excellent job instaling the unit, programming the thermostat, and cleaning up upon completion.
I'll definitely be going to Mike and his team for all of my future HVAC needs and plan on using Bentley's for annual tune ups.
I'd recommend Bentley's to anyone who demands great customer service and fair prices. If you like feeling like you're just a check to some company, by all means, go with someone else...if you appreciate friendly service and want to settle on a company that you can trust on the long haul and will remember your name, go with Bentley's.

"Hired a professional to install 2 hand rails for my parents. One was installed on the front porch brick steps and one on the back porch brick steps. They arrived on time, installed both handrails quickly and safely. Handrails are sturdy, and now my parents lives are that much safer. Would recommend."

"Tech arrived on time, was very helpful with Install. However, I was told he would install 2 Smoke Alarms and only one was installed. But overall Tech did a professional job."

"My A/C condenser died in July. When I began requesting recommendations and quotes from contractors on different systems, I found that I might not be able to afford replacing my old system at all. I spoke to 4 contractors and 2 online vendors. Finally found First Class Home Services. Tommy Goldberg sent me his technician Cameron Soper. Cameron is not a salesman. He knew I was having financial problems and did his very best to help. They got me a better unit than I had hoped for, a better price, and arranged financing that I could afford. Also, they don't have a surcharge on their financing like I found with some contractors. It was a one-day installation and Mr. Goldberg was available by phone and e-mail to answer all my questions and walk me through the whole process (day, night and weekend). Truly amazing service! J. "5 stars! Mark Chapman with US Energy Solutions just installed a manual transfer switch box for my portable generator. The work was done professionally, on time, and very reasonably priced. Mark tested the install before he finished and it was perfect the first time. He was knowledgeable and experienced. My next electrical project will start with a call to Mark!"

Video surveillance monitoring: $40–$65 per month

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.
Yes, a home security system can be worth it for your peace of mind alone, but it can also save you up to 20% on your home insurance. The insurance savings will help defray the initial setup costs and subscription costs over time. Locations with higher crime rates also make home security systems a valuable investment, but it ultimately depends on your personal preferences and asset values.
Yes, most states require HVAC technicians to be certified, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed HVAC technician could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
