They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Yes, you can paint a flagstone patio, but ensure you choose a durable latex paint specifically designed for outdoor use and heavy foot traffic. An elastomeric latex paint will fill in all the gaps and create a waterproof seal over the stone. When applying the first coat of touch-up paint, it is best to use a paint roller. A roller allows you to get a thin layer of paint to the area to avoid an unsightly blend with the old coat of paint. However, if you need to touch up the area a second time after the first coat has dried, a small brush will work best to avoid applying too much paint.

You'll need at least two coats of paint when painting your stair railings, despite some manufacturers' claims of single-coat coverage. This is necessary mostly because there are often many corners and details that make it difficult to cover all surfaces evenly with a single coat. Adding a second coat evens out the finish and provides added durability.
