"Issac is a great gentleman! He gave me a fair estimate for 900 ft of privacy fence with other fencing projects as well. I hired him today and feel he is going to do a beautiful job. I believe he’s totally worth calling and giving him the job. I will come back after to show you his work. Well his and his teams work. Thank you Issac for your honesty."

"What a great experience! I love my new fence from Brookview Fencing. Josh and Nicole were awesome: punctual, professional, super nice people and they killed it! They communicated with me constantly and explained things to me that I hadn't thought of as far as getting in and out of my gate and adjusted accordingly. They even filled in some low spots in my yard with extra dirt! I will definitely recommend Brookview Fencing to everyone."

"I watched as Joey and Steven replaced some rotten wood on the front exterior wall of my house. The slightly complicated project took a little more than 4 hours. They did an excellent job."

"Great father and son team to work with. Repaired my fence, replaced my shed ramp, and installed a new handrail in my garage. Quick to give a quote and quick to schedule the work. Would recommend it."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

A gate shouldn’t be higher or lower than the fence it's attached to. If the gate is lower than the fence, it encourages strangers to peek at your property. If the gate is higher than the fence, it just looks weird. Gates allow for increased security and aesthetics, so ensure the gate rests at the same height as the fence.

While they can be closer, the maximum distance between fence posts for residential fences is 8 feet. This ensures the panels are adequately supported by the fence posts. This is usually dictated by the width of the panel, which is typically between 5 and 8 feet. While narrower panels will require more posts, they’ll be lighter and easier to work with than wider panels that are the same height.

You can keep a dog from digging under a fence by filling existing holes in your yard, installing a wire to your fence bottom, burying your fence bottom, making a designated digging spot, and removing visual stimuli. You can also dissuade your dog from wanting to dig under your fence and escape by scheduling more one-on-one playtime and ensuring they are getting enough exercise to keep them stimulated.

The cost to pressure wash a house ranges from $200 to $400 and unfortunately does not include fencing. That service will be an additional charge of between $150 and $350, depending on the size of your fence and the type of material it’s made of. This also applies for other services like pressure washing a patio or deck.

The best wood for fence posts are redwood, cedar, and pressure-treated pine. Wood posts made from these materials will typically lasts between 15 and 30 years, depending on the specific type you choose and your local climate. With proper care and maintenance, a fence post made of these materials can withstand most weather conditions.
