"From my first contact with Habitat Haulers, I was very impressed . Richard was very professional, very clear on explaining his services and cost and excellent with further correspondence On the day of our service, he kept me updated on their arrival time The two men that removed our landscaping debris were also very professional and courteous. They got the job done and left the area neat and completely cleaned up And did I mention the price? They were extremely reasonable compared to others out there I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when we finish our next project!"

"Javier Ramos Landscaping LLC did a fantastic job installing the new sprinkler system. The newly laid sod was peeled back and the trenches were all hand dug. Javier put the system under the driveway without the need to cut it. It took Javier and his crew 1 day to complete the sprinkler system. The lawn was back to normal and no sign of the trenching exists. I would highly recommend Javier Ramos Landscaping LLC."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

If the lead paint is in a place that is not easily disturbed and is not flaking or deteriorating, you do not necessarily need to remove it. Lead is toxic when dust particles or flakes from peeling lead paint are ingested. If people are not in the area with the lead paint, it may be safe to leave it in place. You still may want to consider encapsulation with a paint formulated for covering lead-based paint, just for an added layer of protection.

Government regulations such as the EPA and OSHA govern lead removal procedures to ensure health and environmental safety during and after abatement.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.
