Dan is a straight shooter, quick to provide an estimate, competitively priced, does quality work and finished the work on time (1 day early). The place looks fantastic after he finished. The bids I had received were all over the place and several of the other companies started way high and then magically reduced prices by 30-40% when they realized they were not in the running. Because I had used Long before, I made the mistake of paying Jamie on a Friday afternoon. He said he would come back next day to complete job by moving furniture back onto the deck. He did not come; did not call. Needless to say, I had to struggle all day to drag furniture onto the deck and rely on others who would assist me. When you should repaint your house is largely up to you since it’s primarily a cosmetic update, but many people choose to repaint when they notice signs of fading, bubbling, or peeling paint. To make sure the paint won’t bubble as you apply it, make sure to paint on a day that’s cooler than 85 degrees Fahrenheit. When the temperature is too high, the paint won’t dry evenly, which can result in bubbles forming on the surface. Another way to prevent paint from bubbling is to clean the walls, apply primer, and let everything dry completely before you begin.

You can paint an old wooden fence, but make sure first to do a deep clean (ideally with a pressure washer) and inspect the fence for any existing damage. Painting over dirt and debris will cause your paint to peel. Once you’ve cleaned and repaired any minor issues, use a primer and high-quality satin paint.

Priming stucco before painting is not an absolute requirement, but applying a primer coat is recommended. Primer is designed to serve as a strong bonding agent between the stucco surface and the outer paint layers. Using a primer can also help produce even coverage and color for a better-looking final product.
