"Lakeside initially approached us and asked if they could give us a free roof inspection.  I'm not normally receptive to such cold calls, but as it happens, we had just spotted a broken shingle and wanted a quote.  They found we had a lot of hail damage that we were not even aware of.  We authorized Lakeside to assist us in communicating with the insurance company and meeting with the adjuster, and in exchange for this assistance, we agreed to give them the work.  After reading the many positive reviews here and speaking with several neighbors for whom they had done work, we had no reservations in making this decision.   The adjuster agreed we did indeed have a lot of hail damage and the insurance company paid for replacement.   We paid a little bit out of pocket for the deductible and our desired upgrade to architectural shingles.   Darryl and Tom were very patient and helpful in providing several rounds of shingle samples and installation addresses so we could look at different roof colors.  Once we made the shingle decision,  they were very fast.  I informed them of our selection in the morning;  the materials were delivered in the afternoon!  The roof was installed and complete within three business days after delivery of supplies. This is apparently slower than usual, but we had extremely hot weather, and we were informed in advance that the workers would need to take more breaks for their safety.  Of course we had no objection to that.  The crew did a good job of cleaning up debris, nails, etc. and also fished some tennis balls out of our gutters and reattached a section of siding that was coming loose.  I had expected there would be some collateral damage, since there are a lot of plants close to the foundation and thus directly under the work areas.  A couple of flowering plants and a shrub were injured (only a little pruning needed to fix). Also, the lawn had some burned patches, apparently from old shingles that rested there a little too long in the hot sun, but those patches returned to normal within a week.  The crew moved several heavy flower pots out of harm's way, as well as our grill and patio furniture.  Overall, a positive experience, and I would recommend them.
