"I recently hired Drip Happens Plumbing for a leak under my kitchen sink, and I couldn?t be more impressed! From the moment I called, the team was responsive, courteous, and clearly committed to great service. The plumber arrived right on time, explained everything in detail, and got the job done quickly without any mess. What really stood out was how respectful and professional they were ? no upselling, just honest work at a fair price. It?s hard to find dependable tradespeople these days, but Drip Happens Plumbing has definitely earned my trust. I?ll be recommending them to friends and calling them again for any future plumbing needs!"

"AJ Plumbing responded to my inquiry for an estimate regarding a plumbing problem. They were at my residence within an hour after making contact with me. They gave an estimate on-the spot and it was very reasonable compared to other estimates that I had been given. AJ completed the initial repair and even took care of another problem that I pointed out that needed attention. AJ had the needed supplies on his truck and finished all of the work within 2 hours. He cleaned up the work area and left everything secure and safe. I definitely would use AJ again and recommend him as a good person and a knowledgeable plumber. Greg in Ballentine, SC"

"Nate came out at the scheduled time and immediately went to work fixing my outdoor spigot/faucet. He was very professional and appears to be very skilled at plumbing. He also checked and adjusted my water pressure before he left which I appreciated and he took the time to address additional concerns that I did not originally call him out for. Professional, skilled, and thorough. I will be calling on GatorFlow/ Nate in the near future! Thank you Angi for the great referral and thank you Nate for a job well done."

"Joe fixed our bathroom leak by replacing the faulty hardware with the proper hardware and patched the wall back up and repainted the wall (with the perfect color match) where he had to cut out to diagnose. You can’t even tell there was a hole there. Joe took the time to explain everything to me of what our issue was and how he fixed it. He was on time, explained how long the job will take, and very thorough. Very professional work. My husband and I will definitely use Cransten again for our house projects in the future. Before and after photos from the leak damage and repair included with this review."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Keep foam sleeve insulation ready to protect exposed pipes before Gilbert experiences unpredictable winter freezes. Maintain a valve key to quickly operate your main water shutoff during emergencies. For well systems, keep a pressure gauge and a detailed record of your pump model. Finally, place a moisture meter near your crawl space access to detect early signs of leaks before they cause major structural damage in SC homes.

Helpful?

Schedule plumbing for your Gilbert home after any sharp winter cold snap to check crawl space pipes for cracks. During spring rains, watch for slow drains that indicate stressed septic systems. In late summer, low water pressure points to an overtaxed well pump. If your home dates back to the 1970s, look for rust-tinged water, which signals that your aging galvanized steel supply lines require replacement.

Helpful?

For plumbing in Gilbert, choose materials that withstand high humidity and occasional hard freezes. Since the SC Midlands area has clay-heavy soil that shifts with moisture, select flexible or slip-joint-tolerant pipes for underground runs. If your home relies on a private well, choose corrosion-resistant materials to handle elevated iron and sediment levels. Always ensure your supplies comply with state codes and are labeled by approved testing agencies.

Helpful?

Delaying plumbing in Gilbert leads to severe structural and system failures. Small leaks in crawl spaces rapidly create mold and extensive wood rot due to the persistent local humidity. Ignoring slow drains causes complete septic drain field saturation, while neglecting well pump fluctuations leads to total motor burnout. Furthermore, minor pipe cracks left unaddressed will fully burst during the next hard winter freeze, causing extensive property damage.

Helpful?

Distinguishing between plumbing and other repairs in SC requires checking specific signs. A consistently wet patch near your water meter points to a broken supply line, while a soggy area over a drain field signals septic issues. In humid crawl spaces, visible dripping near pipes confirms a leak, whereas a generalized musty smell points to vapor intrusion. For low pressure on municipal water, contact your utility provider first.
