"I highly recommend this company for granite repair. They promptly responded to my request and scheduled an appointment for the very next day. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, and repaired my granite countertop so flawlessly that you can’t even tell where the crack had been. The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of the workmanship was pristine. Reliable, skilled, and highly professional from start to finish."

"The two bathrooms are a mirror of each other. The first bathroom was fantastic. When I called and ask questions about the tile surround of the second bath seemed like it was not all sealed (grout) I was told it was the lighting that made it look like that. I again stated that the grout was rough in that bathroom compared to the other completed bath and still they stated it was the shadows. Since then, I have dropped an object on the side of the tub chipping the surface in December of 2021. I called them and they stated they would need to come out in January 2022 because they were not on my side of town at that time. I did not hear anything from them. I tried to contact them again and left a message in July of 2022 with no return call. We were also told that as long as we cleaned the bath tubs the way they recommended it was warranted. My bathroom that had the "shadow grout" is now cracking on the bottom in 2 spots and they have still not responded to my calls about repairing the initial chip which I admit was caused me. I am so disappointed in this company at this time and feel that I need to find another company to repair the work that was done so poorly in my primary bathroom. I caution against using this company any further since they do not appear to stand by their work and do not follow up on any calls about work."

"Service: Marble Restoration and Polishing with some grout work in Master Bath. I called Marty and asked about doing some grout work in our Master Bathroom. He came over, evaluated the situation, and made some recommendations about redoing and fixing some areas of the grout, cleaning the shower tiles, grout, and the bathroom floors. He broke out all the different work in a quote and was not pushy about what parts of the work we did or didnâ t do. He was very detail-oriented from discussing the work to be done, to how he actually performed the work. He protected everything around the workspace and cleaned up when the job was finished. For the amount of time spent making our bathroom look like new again, we paid a very reasonable price and the work was meticulous and beautiful. Quality, responsiveness, and professionalism all get 5 stars. EXCELLENT job, we highly recommend Marty."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

Cracks are usually repaired using an epoxy filler that matches the countertop's color. The area is cleaned, the epoxy applied, and then polished to blend with the surface, restoring both strength and appearance.

Since cesspits must be watertight to prevent leakage and contamination, so they’re typically constructed from one of a few tough materials. Most cesspits are made from fiberglass, concrete, polythene, or steel. Each of these materials carries certain advantages—fiberglass, for example, is resistant to corrosion but may be more prone to cracking if it’s at high capacity.

Use a pH-balanced cleaner, avoid abrasive materials, and reseal porous stones like granite annually to maintain durability.

Engineered quartz is an artificial, nonporous material made from a mix of mined ground quartz, polymer resins, and pigments, making it a lower-maintenance option. In contrast, quartzite is a natural stone composed of sandstone, which makes it highly resistant to heat but often requires sealing and more careful upkeep. You should clean both types of stone with non-abrasive cleaners that have a low or neutral pH, avoiding acidic cleaners like vinegar, as well as wire brushes and scouring pads.

Yes, in some instances, homeowners can have their heat-damaged quartz countertops repaired. However, it greatly depends on the severity. A pro can buff out minor discolorations. Epoxy kits are also available to fix minor cracks. Sadly, deep burns causing extreme resin damage may require a complete replacement.
