The installation crew was impressive.  This is mean work crawling around under a house for 3 days.  These guys showed up on time, never left the site, were friendly and courteous and it was apparent very quickly that their work was first class.  The work at the most remote corner with only 12 inches of clearance was as well done as the more accessible areas.
They did much more than lay down plastic and plop down a dehumidifier - they had to lay a foundation , install a concrete sill wall and install a wall to isolate the crawl space from the porch areas.  All of this work was first class.
The dehumidifier unit is best in class and is silent.  I cannot hear any noise in my living room directly above the operating unit.
They guys even recommended Rh monitoring instruments that I can use to feel good that the system delivers the expected results.  In fact the warranty and guarantee is written around hard specifications on deliverables.
When there is so much mediocrity around, I wanted to go the extra mile to reward this company with positive comments - ones they correctly deserve!

"They didn't end up doing the work. They were really high on what they wanted to do. Other people who looked at the porch said that it was not causing an issue with any water intrusion and that there doesn't seem to be any signs on the posts that this could have been recent, it could have been long ago. So no work was done. It was a front porch that had just the level concrete on one side was dipping just a little bit. I think they were going to pump it up from underneath or something like that to level it out.
