"T J the owner and Eddie the tile installer are consummate professionals. T J listened to me as I explained the work I wanted done and he made it happen. He was very involved in making sure the work was completed in a timely manner and he even installed the baseboards and mouldings himself. The price for this project was very reasonable and both my husband and I love the work that was done. Glass is another good option that’s also low-maintenance—you just need a glass cleaner like you would use on the bathroom mirror. Natural stone tile is porous, but it’s still a viable option if you choose it in a glazed version.

Grout and caulk are commonly used together, especially in bathrooms. Grout goes between the tiles and keeps them sturdy and in place on the walls or floor. Caulk goes in corners or where two different materials meet (like where the bathtub meets the tile) to create a waterproof seal. However, they are not interchangeable—you shouldn't use caulk to adhere tile and shouldn’t use mortar if you need a waterproof seal.
