Toilet was rocking back and forth. When toilet was removed, it was discovered that the cast iron flange was broken off on one side, which was causing the toilet not to sit firmly to the floor. Called and spoke to Gavin who came out right away to give me a estimate of repairs. Gavin provided an excellent quote and also replaced the toilet flange the same day. Gavin was very professional and the job only took an hour to complete and it was done right. I would highly recommend this company. They did a great job and at a great price.

Called Gavin and quickly got a time for him to come out and take a look. He provided cost estimates based on questions I had about tankless vs. traditional tanks. Once I gave the go ahead it was installed within 24 hours. Everything was quick and easy and exactly as expected.

Gavin and Tyler were great! We opted to go with the tankless heater this time around so we didn't have to go through this problem ever again. The weather caused us a few issues getting it installed but Gavin worked with the electrician and gas guys as soon as it was possible to get the tankless installed. I would definitely call them to handle any or our plumbing issues!

Gavin called and was able to come before our appointment. He assessed the situation and provided me with a recommendation. We had him do the work that day. It was relatively quick and he shows me how the builders had not installed the toilet correctly and explained why we had the problem we did. He told me what to expect if the problem reoccurred and said he would come back. We haven't had any issues since.

He was wonderful! He came out , even before he came out he kept in constant contact with me to let me know where he was and how much longer it would be till he got to me. You don't find that type of kindness a lot anymore . He arrived dug up the area and informed me yes I certainly had a leak but so does the city on their side of the meter. If they would have taking the time to look into it instead of right away trying to brush it off they would have seen it. As a matter of fact their leak was worse then our side! He fixed my side. He then was nice enough to leave it open so the city could see it and not be lazy about themselves again. Took his time to show me where my crack was, and then should me where the cities crack was. Also told me if the city gave me a hard time to call him when they got here and he would come right over. Now I am sorry but you don't find many of people like this . He is a diamond in the ruff! I would recommend him 100%. All around great guy who goes over and above for his customers!!!!

Amazing. We found water leaking from our house at 9 pm on a Thursday. Gavin was there by 10 and found that our hot water heater, located in our attic was leaking. He immediately took steps to protect our home. He contacted his electrician as we needed new wiring to move the water heater to our garage and by 4 pm the next day we had a new heater with lovely hot water. The electrician charged $296 and Gavin charged $800.

Great. He was here the day I called and even fixed our dishwasher. We had some other questions about our toilets and he took the time to talk to us.

Gavin is totally AWESOME!!!!!  Appointment was made to  fit MY schedule; appointment confirmation was made by Palmetto State; they called 30 minutes before time to make sure time was still ok with me; evaluated problem; repaired issues in a very timely manner. Gavin is very knowledgeable in his field. He was courteous, respectful of property, very reasonable.  I am extremely impressed with this company and will use them again and highly refer them to friends and family!  I simply cannot say enough positive things about this experience!!  Great job!!!

My initial experience with Palmetto State Plumbing matched the reviews of most other people.  When I called, they got back in touch with me, came out quickly, and did the job that I needed.  I thought that the price was a little high but nothing outrageous.  If that had concluded my dealings with this company, then my review would probably have been a good one.
Unfortunately, after the tile installers came and installed the backer board and tile, I found out that the faucet had been installed incorrectly.  When trying to attach the trim and knob, I realized that the faucet had been installed too deep in the wall.  Therefore, the knob and trim plates would not attach correctly.
I called the company on a Sunday afternoon and left a message describing the problem with a request that they call me back to discuss options.  On Tuesday afternoon after not receiving a call, I called again.  After talking with the owner, Gavin, I was told that they would come by the following day to take a look.  On the following day, Gavin sent me a text stating that he would not be able to make it, but he did not offer a reschedule date.  I asked about a reschedule date, but was never given a response.  I tried calling again on Thursday, but my call was unanswered.  I have yet to received any further response.
After doing some research, I found a stem extender for Kohler faucets that I ordered that fixed my problem.  It's too bad that I had already cut a hole in the bedroom wall behind the faucet.  I would not recommend Palmetto State Plumbing.

Oh man, was I glad I found these guys! I had a water heater I was looking to replace at a house I'm purchasing, the existing water heater had heavy rust damage all along bottom and looked like it could blow out at any moment -- the type that make you really nervous. I originally bought Lowe's water heater detail service which is advertised as "same day installation if ordered before noon" - the detail costs $35, and the charge if they put it in is $230 + any add'l fees assessed at detail. Well, turned out this was blatant false advertising, as Lowe's just contracts it out, and their contractor couldn't do the work for at least 5 days out! I got a refund from Lowe's and found Gavin on Angie's List. He came out the next day and installed water heater (his cost was $250, plus an add'l $25 for transporting the water heater from Home Depot to site about 5 miles away). He did excellent work, on short notice, and actually met the timeframe Lowe's was advertising. Long story short, I give Lowe's an F for false advertising, and Gavin/Palmetto State Plumbing an A+ for actually being available to do the work!

Mr. Gavin was very nice and professional. He came out on a holiday with no problem. He also arrived exactly when he said he would. Thanks so much Gavin.

The plumber was kind enough not to make me feel stupid about noticing this myself. It was behind the panel on the water heater, and once removed, he noticed it right away. Then he proceeded to check out the rest of my older water heater and make sure it looked in good condition and everything else was operating alright. He reported to me everything he was doing and why, and he also explained what we might want to do in the future. He could have taken advantage of me and sold me a new thermostat or water heater but didn't. I thought he was very professional and kind about it, considering he had come on a Saturday and out of his usual service area.
