Very knowledgable about rodent problems and then thorough with figuring out the problem, how to fix it and following up to make sure it was done right. No more mice and rats in our crawlspace! "We have a contract with them. The yearly contract is $225 and we pay them $70 each time they come. They do a really good job and we don't really have any problems with pests. They have friendly people. If we have a problem and see bugs, they come right over. They are the only pest control company we have used and we are really satisfied with them. We are satisfied with their prices."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Exterminators can get rid of your current ant problem, but they won’t prevent ants from coming back. So it’s important to implement ant preventatives to avoid future infestations.

The primary reason ants enter your home is to find food. If they can’t find any, they won’t survive. So, the most effective way to prevent ant infestations is to clean, clean, and clean some more.

Keep your kitchen sparkling and wash your dishes immediately (or at least give them a quick rinse and wash off leftover food). Take out your garbage and compost as often as possible and tightly seal all your kitchen containers, especially the mason jars you use to hold your sugar—sugar is gold to ants.

You can also hire a local handyperson to help you prevent future ant infestations. The handyman can seal cracks and fix leaks throughout your home, which will keep any ants from entering.

Voles are pretty prolific breeders, managing to squeeze in 5 to 10 litters a year, and each litter usually has around 3 to 5 little ones. These furry creatures are flexible with their love lives, as they can breed all year round, though spring and summer are their prime times. If they're living it up in warmer areas, voles don't take a break and keep reproducing non-stop.

Fogging keeps mosquitos away for an average of 72 hours. This is the length of time that a mosquito fogging machine will continue to operate at peak performance for pest control and protection. After the initial 72 hours, the fogger may still keep mosquitos away but will gradually decrease in effectiveness.

Yes. While cellar spiders can seem creepy or scary, they’re essential to the ecosystem. They feed on smaller insects in your home or elsewhere, keeping those populations in check. They’re also food for birds and small animals, so if you let a cellar spider live and simply transport it outside your house, you’re letting the natural cycle continue undisturbed.

Set live traps or install a one-way door to evict squirrels, rodents, and other animals from your attic. Once they’re out, seal any entry points to prevent the animals from returning. If you’re dealing with an infestation, call a pro.
