He was also very personable and very friendly. I will call Servant Plumbing and ask that AJ come and do the same job at a condo I own in Mt. Pleasant."

I come from a long line of home builders (even working construction myself) and both my partner and I are very particular about the way things get done. "If you are reading this review, you must be thinking of using Bathkingz. Before deciding to utilize their services, read on and decide if this is the type of experience you want. I am leaving personal opinion and speculation out of this review, and just stating the facts. First, I give this company a one star, but it does not apply to the quality of work. After 19 days since the demo of our old shower started, we still do not have a working shower, so I can not comment on quality of work. Here are the facts of our situation and you can decide if you really want to use this company or not. In February, we agreed to let Bathkingz provide us with a new shower. We had a new construction house, and were told quite a few times by them 2-3 days after material arrived to complete the job. We also told them we wanted to move into house in mid April, and they assured us there would be ample time to get the material in and get shower completed before we moved in. In Early April we contacted them to see how things were progressing and we were assured around April 9th our material would arrive. On April 10th, a team came out and started demo on our old shower. It looked like everything would be done in time for us to hire a painter and move in around mid April as planned. On April 14th, the crew came out and started the installation of new shower, this continued on the 15th. The crew only works a few hours a day and the speed in which they moved did not leave us a lot of hope that the shower would be completed before April 16th as we had a painter scheduled on 16th and we were scheduled to move in on 18th with a moving company. So we decided to ask one of the crew members how long it would take as we were told 2-3 days. They told us never 2-3 days, and maybe by end of week. So we ended up postponing the Painter and we were able to get the moving company to agree to move us on Monday April 21st thinking at least the shower would be done. On the 17th the crew only worked for a few hours, and on April 18th one person came out to install the shower head. That was last work that has been done on our shower. Since we moved in on the 21st and it was Easter, we decided to wait till Tuesday the 22nd to contact Bathkingz to see what was going on. We were informed that there was some material that was damaged in transit, and that the manufacturer was expediting shipping of the material and it should arrive by end of week. That was the first we heard of that. So we patiently waited until end of week, hoping we would hear something, and of course we did not, so on Monday, April 28, we reached out once again to Bathkingz and was told the parts department verified the material was delivered in, but that needed to be verified. So the owner does not trust his own parts department, but somehow expects everyone to trust him. It is now Tuesday morning April 29th. It has been 19 days we have been living without a shower. In addition, they have left material and the shower doors in my garage, and we can not put a car in the garage because of this.We still have no idea if and when our shower will be completed, and only get vague communications with no follow up as to when the shower will be completed. I decided to try this method to see if we can get a more definitive answer as to when our shower will be completed. Randy, I see you read and respond to reviews, so you stated your crew needed 1 more full day to complete the shower. I am planning on updating this review everyday with what has happened the previous 24 hours, and if you want to show your company is better than a 1 star company, just respond to this review with when our shower will be completed by"

"They not only fixed the trim as requested but they painted the existing trim in order to match the newly installed piece. I also added a gate repair to the project as it fell during the period when I was awaiting the quote and they did a wonderful job there as well."

"Do not use this company for backflow tests! I called Cottrell for a simple backflow device test. I was charged $213 for a backflow test which was over twice the amount I was told to expect by friends and family who had the same test done by other plumbers (one even showed me his invoice for $35.00). It is an absurd price for a very simple test and far overpriced compared to other plumbers in the area."

"I hired Tim and company to assemble Gazebo and asked if had experience in assembling and assure me and he came out to start assembly and the first day pointed out quite error and ,mistake and hg e assured me that he would be able to repair and without any noticeable blemishes on the work. Second day came on the morning and continued the assembly and afternoon on the lunch they went lunch and never cam back and f would not available and would not responded my voice messages. They dragged the expensive wood over concretes and left scratches all over the wood."

"I don't ever write negative reviews, but we had the worst experience with Meetze Plumbing. It started ok, but it fell apart pretty quickly. We have tried to get them to resolve the issue beyond the measly $500 off our bill they offered. We hired them to move our bathtub drain and water supply to fit our newly purchased free-standing tub to replace our builder-grade tub during our bathroom remodel. The first technician that came out was polite and moved the drain and water supply based on the schematic for the new tub. We paid that bill. The next step was to have the floor and wall tile installed which we did. Then, Meetze was to come in and install the tub. A new technician showed up and, when it became clear that the drain was not moved to the proper location because the tub wouldn't fit, he let us know the first technician no longer worked for them. He moved the drain to the new location after we had the floor tile cut to accommodate the new hole in the floor where the technician marked it. This appeared to solve the problem, but, when they placed the tub, we noticed that the water supply (installed in the wall) was not aligned to the center of the tub. Due to this issue, we could not use a standard length tub spout or the water would pour over the tub lip onto the floor. We brought this to Meetze's attention, and they sent someone out who determined that a floor joist prevented them from moving the drain to align with the water supply. We couldn't move them both without major tile demolition on both the floor and the wall to move both the drain and water supply to align. At no time did Meetze offer to pay for the tile work to make it right. So, we sucked it up and ordered an expensive long tub spout knowing that it would always bother us that the water supply and tub did not line up, but at least we could use the tub. When we finally got the tub spout in the mail, I was excited to try out the tub, but, when I climbed into the tub facing the water supply fixtures, I could clearly see that the faucet handle and tub spout were also not aligned!!! The faucet handle is about 1/2" off center of the tub spout (see picture). I contacted the owner with no response and replied to the invoice email requesting that an owner or manager reach out to me. Still no response! I know people make mistakes, but they should be corrected. If we ever sell our home, someone with the smallest bit of OCD will not be able to handle the misalignment of the tub, tub spout, and faucet handle. The only communication Meetze is happy to send is an invoice asking when we plan to pay. I am paying the invoice now, as much as it boils my blood to pay for such shoddy work. Please do not use them. They may be a little less expensive than the other guy, but it is not worth the headache and the permanent damage to your home."
