"Spring Construction charged us for work they didn't do and materials they never supplied, as they weren't needed. I called the owner, George Hutchinson about this and he originally offered me $100 (which he never sent), He was rude, constantly interrupted me, called my handyman an idiot (he's not) and hung up on me. While the work was being done, I had asked several times to see the work before the siding was replaced (we had a leak). I wasn't shown anything, I wasn't 't even told they had finished. One of the workers entered my house twice without permission looking for an outlet. He even moved some of my furniture. The job site was not cleaned up with nails left all over the site that I had to clean up. I cannot recommend Spring Construction based on my experience. I have also talked with other people that had the same issues with Spring Construction. "

"Honest, efficient and professional. That about sums up Gerry and his crew. I own a house that I rent in Bluffton and a couple of months ago my tenant moved out and I had yet to re-rent it. My property management company kept telling me it was a down time, but it turns out my house was essentially destroyed inside. I do not live in the area so I was relying on them. Gerry went to my house for me, reported just how bad it was and provided me with an estimate for re-painting the entire inside of my house. Note it wasn’t just painting, there were some significant holes that needed fixing as well. I got quotes from three other companies, but for some reason I just felt most comfortable with Gerry. He was able to get my house done within a week. I fired my property management company and listed the house myself. I had six interested tenants within a week. The decision to repair or replace stucco depends on the extent of the damage. You should aim to let stucco dry for at least 48 hours before it rains. While misting new stucco and keeping it moderately moist is important for strength and longevity, uncontrolled exposure to rain can lead to weak stucco that doesn’t bond properly. Rain can also affect the stucco finish and the color unevenly, leaving you with less appealing siding.

Late fall is generally the best time of year for installing stucco siding. We don’t recommend hiring a stucco pro to apply this feature when the temperatures are below freezing, so it’s best to avoid applying stucco siding to your home during the winter. However, it’s safe to apply in hot and colder temperatures, so any other time of year is suitable. The spring and summer are the busiest times of year for stucco siding professionals, so you could save money by doing the work in the off-season: the late fall.
