"We hired James to paint our condo from top to bottom. I did my research, got over 5 quotes and hired the best. All his reviews were stellar and now I know why. He wasn’t the cheapest but if you want it done right, he’s the guy to hire. He's worth every dollar! I found out he is the person who is hired to paint historical buildings because of his expertise! His attention to detail is beyond any other professional painter I've hired in the past. When we moved in, every wall was painted the same muddy rose beige. I had eight different paint colours and the transition from one wall to the next is crisp and clean. Before he started, the walls were a mess and there was a lot of patching to do. James is a perfectionist, and the place looks new. Our condo has been transformed! Besides that, he's just got to be one of the nicest people you'll meet. Every expectation I had was exceeded."

"They are a newer company so they are still finding their footing in the industry. They are a bit rough around the edges but are all great people. They listened to what I wanted. Offered suggestions and worked together as a team to do what needed done. Their work quality was great and the only delays we had were due to bad weather. They communicated well and overall I had a great experience. I would certainly recommend them to anyone I spoke to."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

You can use small bits that are up to 3/8 inch in diameter, or larger bits that are 1/2 inch or more in diameter. Make sure the bits you use are coated with carbide or diamond; this information is usually visible on the package. You can also use hole saw bits to drill into stucco.

The best tape that works on stucco is the kind made explicitly for stucco surfaces. Look for tape that specifies stucco, masonry, or cement installations. The adhesive usually needs to be thicker and more durable to remain stuck to these rough surfaces.

Tools include trowels, floats, and patching compounds. Professionals use these for precise and durable repairs.

Cracks in the chimney can be very serious, depending on their location and size. Even small cracks can become serious over time if left unrepaired. Cracks allow heat and moisture to deteriorate your chimney and harmful carbon monoxide gas to seep into your home. Small cracks can often be caulked, while large cracked sections may require full replacement.

If it is applied properly, stucco is a durable material that can last between 50 and 80 years, especially with regular repair and maintenance. Things like painting the stucco every 10 years or so will help it last longer. The location of your home plays a big part in the life span of your stucco, too.
