The total cost for this work was $1,500.00. This work came with a Lifetime warranty on the 2 steel rain caps, and a 5-year warranty on the masonry. On Feb. 10, 2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps were moving out of place on top of the chimney, tilting as they might be ready to fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall down damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking into my house on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out to ensure that the caps were properly secured - however no one from Shamrock came out. After nearly 2 months with no response from Shamrock, on April 4, 2024, I called Shamrock"

He scheduled one date and then never showed up. I repeatedly texted him to get a status on a new date for the work but he never showed up--multiple excuses, though--rain, his truck was in an accident, an 80 year old man had no heat and he had to take care of him, then finally, he texted me that there was a death in the family. My last text to him was on 17 November asking for a start date. He responded to the text on 22 November, at which point he said that he would show up the following week (which would have been after Thanksgiving). I finally wised up and reported him to my credit card company since I gave him $ and got nothing for it. I contacted another company and they were able to do the work ASAP. "
