Worst company I have ever worked with. Substandard workmanship along with substandard products. Was sold one product and a different product was put on my deck. Beware do not use this company.

"Howard, you purchased Timber Tech decking and Timber Tech decking is what was delivered to you and used to build your deck. We don?t understand why you continue to post these false and libelous statements when it can be so easily proven with a copy of the contract and delivery orders that you were given exactly what you purchased. We?re pretty sure anyone who knows anything about decking would not consider timber Tech a substandard product. We request that you remove these libelous statements immediately or we will take legal action for the damage you are doing to our reputation personally and professionally."

Deck or Porch
I put out feelers for deck quotes at the end of May in hopes to have my old two level deck relaced. Facebook failed me of the four who were recommended only one showed up for a quote and couldn't come until late August. Angie's list was an almost failure also, but Paul from Family Hearth and Patio showed up as promised his quote came in lower and he could get to us in 45 days. Lo and behold at the 43 day mark the crew showed up and started the demo of the old deck. The crew consisted of 3 guys Red, Ty and Colin for a majority of the job. Dealing with all rain delays the heat and humidity these guys stuck with it and finished the job. Red and his crew ensured that there were no discrepancies in the appearance of the deck. I feel the craftmanship is superb. The job may have taken longer than expected but once again with the weather not cooperating and some work had to be redone due to craftmanship from a worker who was let go during the project. We are extremely happy with the outcome

Family Hearth and Patio replaced our deck and did an amazing job. The new deck looks great-- a huge improvement over our aging composite material deck. Paul, the owner, was responsive and worked with us to come up with a design. Their workmanship is excellent, the deck materials are high quality and the whole thing was carefully built. It was not cheap, but we felt it was worth it because the materials used and workmanship were high quality. They built it over the winter and the weather slowed things down a bit, so it took over a month. My main critique is that we did not have a formal design drawing beforehand, just some sketches, so some decisions (like exactly how to position the stairs) were made with our input as the project progressed. A formal drawing upfront would have been better. But in terms of the quality of the result, I don't think anyone could make a more solidly built, better looking deck.

They installed a wood insert in my fireplace 2.5 years ago . Once you purchase the stove forget service they donâ  t even answer the phone. absolutely terrible service . And support .

"Gary, you left us a message yesterday, Monday, which is the only day that we are closed. If you bother to listen to the message, it would've let you know that we are closed on Monday. We are open every single day Tuesday through Sunday. Also, we did review your message at the end of the day today and pulled your file and came to realize that you are the same person that gave us a horrible review for no reason two years ago after we did service your unit. Why would you expect us to do business with you again after that and why would you want to come back to us if we were so horrible? We suggest you go elsewhere."

They were very professional, efficient, and did not try and oversell me on replacing my dryer vent system. They cleaned it and made it more efficient by stretching my attic hose to straighten it out. They were done in about an hour, two hours before the new dryer arrived from Lowe's.

This was a job cleaning a long clothes dryer vent that had a couple of ninety degree turns in it. They called ahead as I had requested, at a time earlier than they had first projected (that was fine with me - more convenient than the original time). They did a very thorough job and cleaned up afterwards.
