Steve and Carlos started with a chimney cleaning but we soon realized the liner in the chimney was crumbling. They took pictures and videos of the inside of the chimney to explain the problem. Since it was a serious problem, they put in a new liner and stayed until after 9PM to get the job done. Steve and Carlos were professional, efficient and they cleaned up at the end of the job. "I reached out to trip advisor and the name of the company came up I called they came and talked. The chimney was used for a wood stove but has not been used in close to 3 years. They suggested the wrap in wire and the cement over it. then seal it and put a cap on it. They worked hard but the underlayment of the wire shows and the cement is not put on to look very nice at all I do not think they used enough cement and did not know how to put that on so it would look like stucco or a cement chimney.. I really think for $2000.00. It could look better. I am disappointed because I used home advisor in hopes of not being dissatisfied and I did this trying to help a friend and I feel like we were actually taken advantage of. I will be unsubscribing from homeadvisore. I thought the company would be good companies. We were persistent and sent pictures. They returned Wednesday Sept 11, 2019. The chimney s appearance is acceptable. They said they were sorry and it was because of the cement mix. My Friend Heidi that owns the home is satisfied with its appearance and the cement overlay looks better now so hopefully it will remain looking good. I will say that they did come back to make the improvements. Thank You Heidi"

"Mike and Santi arrived exactly when they said they would. Upon inspection they went over exactly what needed to be done and included pictures of our damaged flue liner. We had a mama Racoon and her babies living in there! ð ¬ once they finished their inspection they went over the details and came out later that evening to complete the job. Mike and Santi worked very well together. They were both very professional, respectful and got the job done! I highly recommend Shamrock for any chimney repairs that you might need! "They have a drone that took excellent photos before and after the job. The The job was to replace the chimney stack from the roof up. The chimney looks great. Unfortunately they delayed the work day 3 times, blaming each other for miscommunication. The day they finally showed up (over a month later) they requested an extra $1,800.00 blaming the other partner for under estimating the job. I regret not telling him to take his scaffolding down and leave. Nice enough guys but that was not right."
