"Anthony and his guys did an absolutely fantastic job on our living room and front entryway. No skimping on prep work, sanded all the walls, ceiling and trim and fixed some dents and cracks. Primed and painted all the trim, ceiling, walls, doors, windows, fireplace and a closet. Looks amazing. Stayed in communication with me throughout. Great guys, very accommodating to our needs as well. PS: this site made me choose refinish cabinets as the work being done. That’s not what they did, as outlined above."

"It went well! I expected it to take a long time to get it picked up, but I called for the bag to be emptied on Friday and they were here Saturday! I am already filling it up again. (We have a MESS from the storm and need to finish the kitchen before this weekend's company coming in from out of town.) I have already called them to request my bag be emptied on Friday, and they have me on the schedule! I can't believe the customer service is so great! This is not a regular dumpster company. I have a dumpster delivered last summer and they gouged my driveway. What a nightmare it was to get them to pay for the driveway to be fixed. NEVER AGAIN! It's BullBag only for our future needs."

"Steven at Custom Woodwork & Design is truly the best person I have ever hired. He was meticulous in his design work and attention to detail and fully exceeded our expectations. I am a real estate agent and would recommend him for any of my clients. Here is a description of my project: I had purchased factory made cabinets used and retrofitted them to my kitchen.I ended up purchasing two additional cabinets to get everything to fit right in the space, but it still left two awkward gaps. One was a tall 9 inch space next to our pantry cabinet, and the other was an 8 inch space at the end of a row of cabinets. We talked to about 5 contractors before we reached out to Custom Woodworking and Design. All of them said they could do it, but couldn't seem to figure out a design that worked and gave up. Within 24 hours of meeting with Steven, we had drawings to scale that incorporated what we wanted and so much more than we could have envisioned ourselves. He was able to incorporate adjustable bookshelves, a wine glass rack and a wine rack into the tall cabinet. His drawings alone were evidence of the type of care Steven puts into his work, with the bookshelves lined with books of all different colors in his sketches. And the final product is amazing. The two custom cabinets with all of the amazing elements cost me LESS than one factory built pantry cabinet. The exterior of the cabinets were painted white (sprayed) to match my other cabinets, a shaker style panel was built to match, the interior was all maple with an oak detail on the front of the adjustable shelves. And the turnaround time for all of this was a couple of weeks from design to install. Unbelievable. Words can't describe how thankful I am to have found Steven and how beautiful the final product is. "Mr. Cardilli subcontracts his work out and oversaw the construction. He helped us figure out what to present to the insurance company so that the majority of the work done was eventually covered by our home owner's policy. He was in constant contact throughout the project. He helped us develop a plan that allowed us to remain in the house during construction except for the floor refinishing. This was an important factor for us. 
He remained in constant contact with us about the process, what we needed to do and by when. He checked in on the job daily either by phone or site.  The construction crew he hired was excellent. They were very thorough in their daily clean up of the house including little conveniences like plugging in alarm clocks and setting them to setting up our beds in other rooms during construction.  The painting crew was good, but work needed to be checked for thorough paint coverage. We found paint on bed spreads, curtains, and floor.  They did not clean up as well as the carpenters. The flooring crew completed their job within the given time frame and the work was excellent. All work was completed within the expected time line. 
This was the first time we have ever hired a contractor to do work for us. I will add a couple of things we learned in the process. If you want / need an itemized list of all work and materials used, put that expectation in the contract. Additionally request that any work beyond the agreed upon work is approved (cost) prior to starting the needed work. When the additional work is done, check the work and time required for labor to be sure it is accurate.
Overall this experience was a good one. The subcontractors were polite and pleasant to our family. Mr. Cardilli was attentive and responsive to all our emails and calls.
