On Feb. 10, 2024, I called Shamrock Chimney and told them that the caps were moving out of place on top of the chimney, tilting as they might be ready to fall off. I told Shamrock's representative that I was fearful that the caps could fall down damaging my roof and cars, or injuring someone walking into my house on the walkway below. Shamrock told me that someone would be out to ensure that the caps were properly secured - however no one from Shamrock came out. He apologized stating that he had to fire a bunch of people (sound familiar to anyone?) and had run into some personal problems. He promised to refund my deposit. When he failed to keep his commitment, I notified him that I was going to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, he did not bother to respond. I filed the complaint. I hired him because he had 5 stars on Angie. I don't understand how this rating was possible. I strongly advise seeking a different contractor."
