And, he is a very nice person. The patio he created is extremely well constructed and absolutely beautiful. "I hired Rich in April 25 to demolish and rebuild my cement front stairs. He wrote on the contract that the work was to be completed by the end of May. Needless to say, he never attempted to do the project. I confronted him via text message in October that I wanted my deposit back. He apologized stating that he had to fire a bunch of people (sound familiar to anyone?) and had run into some personal problems. He promised to refund my deposit. When he failed to keep his commitment, I notified him that I was going to file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, he did not bother to respond. I filed the complaint. I hired him because he had 5 stars on Angie. I don't understand how this rating was possible. I strongly advise seeking a different contractor."
