We were hiring for a complete basement remodel and the owner, Tom, called immediately after submitting our inquiry to Home Advisor. Harrop & Son was 1 of 3 companies to give us a quote and they landed well ahead of the competition. Tom was professional, very detailed in his quote, and was extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Honesty was a big reason I hired Harrop & Son. While the competition was ridiculously over pricing the job and looking to take advantage, Tom came in and provided me with an honest quote that was half the price of the competition but afforded double the square footage and a full bathroom, which had been out of the question for the other companies. It was clear that Tom really cared about getting you excellent value for your money. They started right on time and they blew me away with how professional and courteous they were from day 1. They made excellent use of their time and I never saw any of the crew not working. The Foreman, Rick, was excellent and I had complete confidence that when Tom was off site, Rick had everything under control. From the owner down to the sub contractors, everyone was extremely professional and did excellent work. The work completed by Harrop & Son is beyond exceptional. They truly are masters of their craft. They were very detailed in their work and anything they touched had maximum effort put into it.
