"I can't say enough good things about Reinaldo and his team at RF Home Improvement. The addition attached to the rear of the house, which is adjacent to the Kitchen. They covered all of the walls to minimize the inconvenience to us during construction. They were thoughtful not to break through the exterior wall into the interior until the entire addition was air tight and insulated. Even then, they placed barrier walls to minimize the dust in the house. The work is top quality. The team was there every day even though the project began over the winter. I highly recommend RF Home Improvement"

Resurfacing a bathtub is less expensive than replacing one. Resurfacing a tub costs about $330 to $630, depending on the material, while replacing a tub costs an average of $4,150. But remember that resurfacing is a temporary solution for a worn-out tub, and you may need to refinish a tub every few years to keep it looking new.

Acrylic tubs are extremely durable and rarely chip or crack. Even when frequently used, tubs made with this material are largely resistant to damage. However, damage may occur as the tub ages. They can also crack from damage from heavy objects and cleaners or a lack of support.

The cost of installing a new bathtub is considerably more expensive than refinishing an existing one, so if you’re looking to upgrade your tub on a budget, you might be better off refinishing it for now. Then, use an orbital sander with either a 100-, 30-, or 15-micron disc and finish with a hand pad (like Scotch-Brite™ 7447 or 7448) or lamb’s wool bonnet and automotive cutting compound for a matte, semi-gloss, or gloss-finish, respectively.
