"We were thrilled with the work that Hector and his crew did on our deck. After 5 years of self-administered staining and much mold on the deck and especially the railings, we were ready to let a pro handle the job. Our deck is large, multi-tiered and made of gorgeous mahogany, but that beautiful wood had gotten lost under the multiple layers of dark-colored stain I had applied over the years. Hectors crew came on time and the power-washing brought the original wood back to life. Hector then advised us to use a transparent stain so that the wood grain itself would shine through after staining. He was absolutely right. The staining happened a few days later and now deck looks like brand new. There were a few areas where the stain had run and discolored the white painted risers beneath the steps. We called Hector and his team came out ASAP and touched up the paint. That's customer service right there. The overall experience was terrific and the job was perfect. Thanks Hector and crew."

"We recently had a complete roof replacement. Before proceeding, we did comprehensive research of area companies and Vista came out on top, with good reason! All appointments were not only on time but were extremely punctual. We met first with Product Specialist Holly, who was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. While at our home assessing the proposed job, Project manager Rick explained the entire process in layman's terms. The day of the job, Project Supervisor Marc arrived early and went over the entire job with the crew. All company representatives left us with a business card with their cell #'s to call if we required anything. The installation crew was amazing. They arrived early and began immediately. ",I bought a home on the east side of Providence Last August.  It's a great home, But after 60 Years with the same owner it definitely needed some major remodeling.  Richard had previously completed some painting, electrical, and roofing work on the house...So i was excited to get started with him.  I cannot stress enough how great his team is, he used Licensed plumbers and Electricians...a professional tile guy...and for the cabinet installation and general remodeling I was lucky enough to get his Father-in-Law Bill.  A former boat builder and all around great guy.

All of the guys that worked on the job were professional, polite and conscientious.  I had remodeled a Kitchen in a previous home...and every aspect of this job ...electrical, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry installation beat my previous remodeling experience hands down.  Old homes always have their surprises, Richard's team addressed every one of these without any changes to the original estimate.

Working with Richard is a joy, he is responsive and professional and personally makes sure every aspect of the job goes well.  I had some difficulties with the Cabinet Supplier, and Richard helped me resolve all these issues satisfactorily.

"I have now had 4 pickups from this company. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. SO MUCH cheaper and better service than any dumpster company I have used!"

"A very bad prolonged wind storm did major damage to many houses in the area. Many homes had roof damage, including our two roofs. More work than there was contractors to repair them. We were not in the area at the time, nor knew any contractors in the area to repair our roofs. During major catastrophes, you have to be careful not to be con'd by unqualified con artist looking to take your money, so we chose Angie's List for a contractor. We chose Excel (Mike) to repair our roofs. He is licenses and insured and his quote was the lowest of all the quotes we received. Even though he was extremely busy with all the work that was out there, he found time on the weekend to repair our roofs. We signed a standard service contract and Mike started the job as promised. The roofs came out awesome, Mike and his crew did an awesome job !! And they did it all while trying to fix everyone else's roofs. Not knowing where to turn to during this major weather event, and being out of town, it was nice to know that you can trust Angie's List to provide qualified people. You can also trust Excel to do a great job at a great price and be confident when you give them a deposit, they can be trusted. The entire transaction was done long distance without ever meeting each other. It was mutual trust based on reviews and being qualified to be on Angie's List. Just imagine when your transaction is in person."

"Went absolutely fantastic. From start to finish Glenn and his team were right on target. From the preliminary planning stage to the determining of materials, layout and all the small visual details you could want through the drawing up of building plans. It moved quickly and efficiently. There was  never a moment i felt left out or not in touch with what was going on. 
Once construction started it went smoothly and quickly with no bumps just as agreed to and planned. In my profession as an Attorney legal documents are key. I must say the  way the estimate and contract documents are written up is a perfect combination that covers the customer and the contractor alike and covers all the details. They are very conscientious of leaving a minimal trace that they were ever there keeping things neat on a daily basis. All workers were very courteous and respectful.
This is also not the first time I have used North American Building. They have done  many projects around our property including an extensive addition several years ago. They work hard to give you as much bang for the buck as they can and are also a world of knowledge and always come up with design ideas you didn't even think of that are within the style and purpose you are trying to achieve. They were also able to create ways of doing things that I was told by others couldn't be done.  I will continue to recommend them and use them for whatever projects that arise in the future.
