"Flavio is one of the best carpenters ive met in over 30 years....He has done multiple projects for me and i have many going on...from crown molding on kitchen cabs to adding new windows, to new decks, repairing window sils and even siding a cinderblock building with vinyl siding.... "Claudio (the owner) is everything I wanted in a contractor - knowledgeable, qualified, reasonable, trustworthy, easy to work with, and cares about the quality of his work. I am very happy with the work and I am someone who cares about the details. I would hire them again without question and plan to for future projects. Claudio and his team removed an internal wall that was covered in built in book shelves to reconnect two rooms as originally intended when the house was built, redesigned around a fireplace, installed a wall, closed off a doorway and built a hall closet as part of the project, which also include electrical work, removing some floor brickwork and replacing it with wood to match the existing floor, which he did perfectly, and painting. Separately Claudioâ s team has also replaced and updated internal waterlines and external hose connections, replaced a bathroom vanity, sub-flooring, wallboard, and tile work."

"I can't speak highly enough about this company. When I called to arrange an on site visit for an estimate, they showed up on time and listened to everything I had to say about the job. I was given a written quote on the spot (something I rarely see from contractors), so I offered them the job. To my surprise, he said he could get started the very next day (a Saturday) and that they would be able to finish the following Monday when the deck had dried off. They arrived to start the job when they said they would, and got to work right away. I was concerned I would need to move the stuff we have on the decks, but they told me they could simply move them to the side and then move them back when they were done. They did exactly that, and everything was put back to its original position when they were finished. They were power washing all day, and were very thorough. When they came back two days later, they again went to work right away rebuilding the stairs and water sealing the deck. The stairs look great! They even added a step so the bottom step could sit more securely on the concrete (it had been resting on a cinder block before being rebuilt). They advised to wait 1-2 days for the water sealer to dry before using the decks, we paid them, and they did a great job cleaning up when they left. I wish all contractors we hired were as efficient and straightforward as the people working at Melvin Power Wash. I will absolutely call on them again when my decks need maintenance, or if my house needs a wash."
